I think your responses are borne from judging the British man from the POV of African fundamentalism. I have experienced both cultures and will say that, in the first instance, opting for online dating in today's age and time, is a sensible decision. At 75, the majority of British men are healthy, and can sort out their feeding by cooking or having food delivered. So although the African, perhaps being more introspective, will spend those years doing some soul searching, the British wants to explore life in retirement, visit new places, seek out romance. Both are the expectations of their respective cultures, and are appropriate in context, so it would be unfair to expect one to play by the rules clearly made for another.

Ok, you made a good point. There are genuine cases but some are pervert cases, child molesters and abusers.
