If you can do a scan with PP2000 and share the results it would guide to tell root cause (s).

It can be a vacuum leak, sensor or engine issue so a scan would show which way to look.

I am having issue with my 307 on the display screen I am happy anti pollutant faulty, insufficient oil pressure..... Since I started having these problem the car hardly moves, need to put my leg on the tutle before it starts and when apply the brakes it sounds funny like there's air in it when been applied so what's the possible solution thanks

Did you do any work o the car before the oil pressure light started?

There are different problems unrelated here.
Anti Pollution can be your spark plug, ignition coils, o2 sensor, cat or even faulty fuel pump.
Oil pressure can be as simple as changing oil filter.
For your brakes is your hydraulic level ok? Was the system bled when it was last worked on?

You would always have problems when you give a generalist a car that needs a specialist.

I've been working on Strictly Peugeot Vehicles 307, 206 and 406 in that order for over a decade now.

I can take these Vehicles apart and put them together without stress and if you're in Port Harcourt and own a Peugeot you might know me.


I want to use this thread to help anyone who has issues with the above named vehicles!

Post your issues, let's post solutions. If these solutions work then in future anyone searching this forum would have solutions to refer to.

Over time too I would post some common issues and solutions I've encountered.

I would like to buy Peugeot 307(wagon) for regular long haul journeys(not commercial). Please, I need your advice on its ruggedity (the road is not all that good), maintainance, parts availability, durability and of course, fuel economy.

1) Save up money to get a foreign used one. pls avoid naija used at all cost.
2) Get a 307 wagon with EW10 engine.
3) After buying, change timing belt & tensioner.
4) Do not abuse the cooling system. keep thermostat and keep cooling fans automatic. also use recommended coolants.
5) Do not use quartz 5000 oil on any peugeot engine.
6)Replace damaged parts with OEM.

These Dos' and Don'ts cut across all vehicles...in this life human beings have varying tolerant levels...same as cars. Peugeot have very low tolerance for bullshit abuses. Do not abuse any car (Peugeot)
