The PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, keeps saying based on his antecedents, he is the best man to fix the country’s economy. He must really think Nigerians are either daft or are suffering from amnesia. #NotAtikulated

Below are records of his ‘achievements’ when he was head of President Olusegun Obasanjo’s economic team and chairman of the National Council on Privatization (NCP) from 1999 to 2007. #NotAtikulated

16 billion dollars set aside for the upgrade of power supply infrastructure disappeared into thin air. No improvement in power supply to show for the humongous figure. #NotAtikulated

In 2007, the Senate panel, chaired by Victor Ndoma-Egba and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) indicted Atiku for diverting 145million dollars meant for the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) to various bank accounts linked to him between 1999 and 2006.

In 2010, the United States Senate Permanent Sub-Committee on Investigations exposed a pattern of wire transfers of more than 40 million dollars from offshore companies like Siemens into bank accounts controlled by Atiku and one of his wives, Jemila Abubakar...#NotAtikulated

(Formerly Jennifer Iwenjora, later Jennifer Douglas). To avoid being arrested and jailed for this and other scandals, Atiku has avoided the US like a plague for years. #NotAtikulated

He was also indicted by the former IGP Mike Okiro panel for sharing the 74 million dollars proceeds of the famous Halliburton bribe scandal to other top officials of the very corrupt administration in which he served. #NotAtikulated

He sold national assets in fraudulent circumstances to himself and cronies and was heavily involved in the corruption-laden incorporation of Transcorp. #NotAtikulated

US investigators also named Atiku as the collector of the famous 6 million dollars bribe from officials of Willbros Group, Inc., a global engineering and contractor company based in Houston, Texas. #NotAtikulated

He was said to have demanded and collected the bribe to facilitate illicit and illegal deals for the company in Nigeria. #NotAtikulated

Both himself and Obasanjo collected N100M each from Dariye Plateau state ecological funds. When Dariye confessed, OBJ refunded his portion while Atiku held on to his till today. Dariye is now cooling off in jail while Atiku wants to be your President.

Why don't you sell your own candidate to us, rather than talking about other party's candidate.

Look my friend, if you don't mind your business, it will scatter for your hand.

Atiku this, Atiku that. Tell us why your candidate is the best man for the job.

We can't continue to reinforce failure, wake up, it's 2018 and not 2015.

The man Atiku lack the integrity of leading this country. He's too corrupt and can't be entrust with an executive power as stated by former President ObasanjoWe are moving to the #nextlevel. Never will Nigerians allow the destroyers of Nigeria economy to come back to power.

Atiku antecedent is fresh in the memories of Nigerians like ABC, no matter the panel beating can smooth his character , and Nigerians are very familiar with all his atrocities in the Obasanjo regime between 1999-2007. Where he served as Vice president, head of economic team and the chairman of assets privatisation. Where he privatised all our assets for his own benefits.
Re: Atiku Should Stop Fooling Nigerians by OreMI22: 3:53pm On Dec 01, 2018
The choice before Nigerians in 2019 is between peace & prosperity versus poverty & war.

Atiku has been a strong manager of human and financial resources.
Atiku is a dedicated and patriotic Nigerian who has created employment, quality education and a lot more for Nigerians.

On the other hand,

Buhari has not managed anything or being successful in anything EXCEPT PLOTTING COUPS.

Nigeria has drifted to the bottom of all human development indices under Buhari

Buhari is the 1st sitting President where the other former Presidents unanimously agreed that he was roundly incapable of leadership.

Nigeria deserves a change and Nigeria must change the disaster called Buhari in 2019.

Atiku said "based on his antecedents", so what is wrong for us to reminisce and recall his tenure since thats what he wants us to do..if you and him are fools, sorry we are not!!

and you said "We can't continue to reinforce failure" is Atiku not a failure base on the analysis when he was VP

I don't think atiku needs to 'deceive' the millions who have lost their jobs since 2015, he doesn't need to deceive those who must beg to be paid salaries, he doesn't need to deceive families that have lost loved ones due to government nonchalance, he doesn't need to deceive those who see this government covering up corruption cases. As Nigerians we have started 'deceiving' ourselves with 'sense'. We are sick and tired of propaganda. If we compare the allegations against atiku and the allegations against Buhari at PTF, atiku becomes a lesser 'thief'...

Hmmmm

Debate is fast approaching. Package your damaged baggage, Atiku, anyway you wish. If PDP or Atiku has answers to his corruption albatross. PDP won't be begging for him to debate with only PMB. Of course, PMB won't have his time. But Madam OBY, Sowore, et al will surely do, that we all know.Let's see how he is going to lie his way through. He will definitely experience TRANSMISSION FAILURE like in Chatham House. His baggage boy can't save him there.
He will also be made to defend OBJ assessment of him in the now famous book. I won't be surprised if he throws OBJ under the bus. Such is his personality.

Every Nigerians know that Atiku is a looter and can go anywhere but people wanted to collect part of the money looted for years, his only antecedents is fraud and nothing but a fraud and that alone is enough for him to finish him. Nigeria may be pretending they forgot his misdeeds but most of them are waiting for at the poll where he'll be exposed politically
