If you do a PhD with the intention of looking for a 9-5job.....you should be pitied. Those called to lecture are exempt from this.

OP the registrar said received (POSTGRADUATE DEGREES) oh! not PhD. Postgraduate degrees mean a combination of all postgraduate programs (PhD, MSc, PGD etc.)
