Again, Wike also said he may not be in Sokoto today for the kick-off of Atiku campaign because he is hosting the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Rivers State. You are missing the 1st campaign because of NBA meeting. People Deceiving People 3 Likes |

What option do they have? Support Buhari and believe Buhari will make one of them president in 2023? They must be crazy. Even if APC choses not to give it to SW, what happens to Amaechi who has been with APC since inception, and funding it massively? Or they think Amaechis ambition is to die a minister? What of Ngige, Okorocha and Obiano? Will they all not be past governors at the time, but at the present full blown supporters of PMB? They have no political future in APC its as simple as that. If they don't want to support Atiku, its their prerogative, but any attempt to support pmb will be the end of their political careers. Look at what Saraki, Tambuwal, Kwankwaso and even Atiku are all going through at the moment because they supported Buhari. They can try sha. 3 Likes 1 Share |

The writer of this article is very stupid, who told them Atiku is planning to rule for 4 years? Besides 2023 belongs to the Yorubas , the Igbos will never produce The president of The Federal Republic of Nigeria. Quote me. 9 Likes |

Peter Obi is the problem. Remove him from the ticket and watch the southeast governors get back on board. Retain him and the Igbo governors will bury Atiku's ambition before his own very eyes. 6 Likes |

HaileSelassie:Atiku is success? Atiku that had been robbing NPA through INTELS is success? Atiku that laundered $40million in the US through Jennifer is success? Atiku that bribed his way to the PDP ticket by out bidding Saraki and Tambuwal in dollars is success? I pity your unborn generations! By the time Atiku is done looting their birthright, your eye will clear. 10 Likes |

pawesome: To you every news against atiku and pdp must be from apc. I hope you know they are columnist who sits down watch the mood of the polity and come up with a write up of this nature. Besides, atiku is not running against only apc, so expect other contestants to also tackle him on certain issues. 3 Likes |

helinues:Abeg which of them no dey loot? One use his invest and employ because he recognized the economic potential of Nigeria and how to utilize it while some others dont. Does Atiku have the know how to make things better especially economically and in combination with his deputy even compared to those SE governors? Can that be the focus? |

The Governors are selfish. You see why I said politicians don't care about the masses? The real voters are in Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri, Aba and so on. The Governors can go and sleep. |

Useless inferior governors. Obi is the most qualified Igbo man for VP and Presidency both now and in future. There's no hope for the Igbos in APC. |

duni04:See Dis one oooo. I don't do sentimental, tribal or sycophantic politics. In 2015, despite being of ss extraction I voted the daura efiggy, because we couldn't continue with where we are coming from. It was clear that Jonathan had his hand full and couldn't lead this country to the next level. A lot was expected from Buhari, a whole freaking lot , not just in terms of infrastructure development, we expected a change in processes and political behaviour. Almost four years gone and there is no clear pointer if we are developing as a country or not. Instead we find our old wounds of ethnic division, corruption and bitter politicking being reopened. Man just f.uck offf , if you cant draw up 2 or 3 cogent reasons to vote your pay master then demonizing his opponent wont sway me. LikeI said Atiku wont still get my vote but I wish him well. As for Buhari, the battle is between him and Nigeria's future. Its either He is defeated or, he dies because Nigeria cant be defeated, and Nigeria wont die 1 Like |

WisdomFlakes:You are not alone to that, i too. But i blame it on greediness of my igbo kingsmen are yet to understand the important block vote and unity in diversity. APC are lobying them with money and they re falling for it. What beat my imagination is how they think that PMB or anybody will just give them president position in 2023, ofcourse its not possible they need to work for it in unite, resolve among themselves that they want it and be able to present a strong candidte for that. |

WisdomFlakes: Independent Newspaper is a pro-Buhari media. They will always put fake news and conjectures out to kill the enthusiasm of the Atiku supporters. Look at the reason they gave for the cold feet of the SE PDP governors towards Atiku. Who does not know that APC will zone presidency to the SW in 2023? Even Okorocha that is closer to that 2023 ticket than his allegedly revolting PDP colleagues has since smelt the coffee. Here, the Independent newspaper is spinning that the SE PDP governors are also eyeing 2023 presidential ticket. Under which party? Their report is highly illogical. |

pawesome: Right track indeed....PDP made a blunder picking Atiku. For a party that has been so criticised over corruption and one which preached generational change....they ought to have gone for a clean, younger candidate with proven integrity and track record of performance. An Ibrahim Dankwambo / Chukwuemeka Chikelu ticket would have been mystical. I have met people who asked if there were still people with functional brains in the PDP. Atiku is not half as smart as Buhari, especially considering the later's sound military background and long years in top-level public service. His integrity has almost perpetually being in question, coupled with his being almost as old as President Buhari. No solid competitive advantage whatsoever. I mean, what is Atiku's leverage over Buhari? As for people not talking about other candidates, that is what obtains worldwide, candidates of the major contending parties usually took the front burner in the debates and public discourse. 6 Likes 1 Share |
