Only senile people would still see Atiku as viable material for the presidency. His fear of entering the US has proven his guilt in the corruption charge against him. He should go if he has no skeletons in his closet naa.

If Atiku doesn't need to consult them in the choice of his VP, then why is he looking for their support? Peter Obi is not the only Igbo running for the presidency. Moughalu and Ezekwesili are Igbos and are even running for the highest office. What would have made the VP post an Igbo project is if Igbo leaders had a special stake in it by being given the honour of picking the candidate.

Did ezekwesili and moghalu consult with igbos b4 they declared their interests? A big no. Like I said b4 igbos are their own enemies. Even if they were consulted, u will have this chaos. in d end nothing will b achieved. Did u notice what happened after d PDP primaries in PH? Immediately Atiku won, all d guys from d north immediately threw their weight behind atiku, without "consultation". If it was a Yoruba person that won, they will rally round him. But if it was an Igbo guy, till now they will still b fighting just like they did in d first senate. That's y Hausas and yorubas always leave igbos out of such things cos they feel 2 big to allow their fellow Igbo man make progress beyond them politically even if its 4d general good. We saw it with ngige in 2015. Consult from now till next year, it won't change anything. In d end, they will b d first 2 cry marginalisation

This is the problem of SE and they won't learn. All of then want to be one thing same time. Obi is more credible that all of them for now, why can't they fight a common course. The same government that python danced with your kins and kith is the same government you're dinning with. How are we sure power would go to SE come 2023? The promises APC made in 2014 how many is fulfilled? and who has asked. SW that has supported and partly owned and funded this government wud fold hands and look at you take power when they know SE cannot fight with one voice, they have nothing at stake to lure government. Shortest cut for SE government is Atiku/PDP, no matter how long it may take. Tinubu cannot relief power come 2023 to SE after all he has sacrificed to come to where he is. And with the SW togetherness, media, Osibanjo wud floor any SE candidates (they wud still come out in nos and sabotage) any day and time. My advice wud be let our SE brothers learn lessons, they should use now to put their house in order preparing for that time - speak and harness IPOB agitation because this nay even degenerate to an extent that will be an excuse not to give them chance. My humble pie.

You also believed that he stole Nigeria dry? Bros where is your sense

Peter Obi is the problem. If Atiku had consulted the Igbo governors and they collectively picked an Igbo man who is not a bigot like Obi and who is generally accepted by Igbos, the situation of things now would have been different. But the thief Atiku chose to disrespect Igbo leaders now that he is still an aspirant, imagine what he would do to them if he gets real power.
Can you name a single politician from south east that is more acceptable than peter obi?

Only for their selfish reasons . But Obi is still better than all of them together.

SE shouldn't let APC deceived them about 2023. It is a promise they can never kept.

Neither can PDP give it to them because no northerner either living or dead will allow a south easterner be the president of this country again. I have just rolled out the truth, it may be painful to the ears but the truth has been told. Go ahead and bash me....it’s not my thinking remember!

Continue wailing while PDP is busy strategizing on how to murder APC.. Just don't get heart attack lipsrsealed
Newbiee:
How far with Atiku's US visit?

Who is bankrolling Atiku campaign now?

Nyesom Wike the PDP CEO don vex since his candidate was out-dollared in Port Harcourt.

Udom Emmanuel have his hands full with Akpabio challenge.

Ben Ayade has kept himself away from PDP frenzy.

Seriake Dickson is more of an observer now.

Okowa is fighting for his own survival.

Gov. Umahi is fascinated by Buhari's achievements.

Gov. Obiano don't want anything to do with PDP and would rather work with Buhari.

Gov. Dankwambo now knows it is suicidal to support Atiku.

Ishaya Darius of Taraba is minding his own business.

Ortom suddenly has realised that herdsmen crisis can no longer give him automatic ticket, and the Ortom slogan of "Otomatic" don't sound like automatic any more and no more appealing.

Gov. Aminu Tambuwal is begging sokoto people to forgive his stupidity and still allow him to be their governor for the second time.

Kwara's Fatai Ahmed has woken up from Saraki's induced coma.

Nnmadi Kanu's brother Gov Ikpeazu cannot bankroll Atiku since the supreme leader said No "Lefeledum no Erection".

Kwankwaso wants to save some face and may actually be on his way back to APC.

Lamido is no longer willing to work with Satan to dethrone Buhari, maybe the only Satan he is willing to work with is himself.

Makarfi just fizzled out as if he didn't fight heaven and earth to collect the PDP Chairman position from Modu Sheriff.

David mark is still in shock with the 35 votes he got in PH, he didn't know who he should be angry at; is it the 122 Benue state delegates that gave him only 35 votes or the party he served for 20 years, that couldn't reward loyalty?

Jonah Jang's own is worse, this time around he got the 19 votes he needed to beat Ameachi in the GOVERNOR'S FORUM'S election, but alas this is a different election. Ok.

Maybe OBJ will roll out the money, but Baba Iyabo is only known for spending government money during election.

So Atiku is left with SARAKI and those who want to even make dollars from him instead of contributing to the election.

It sounds funny but so true.

In short, all PDP Governors have suddenly realised that their support for an Atiku over a Buhari, is nothing but sure way to waste their states meager resources and a journey to nowhere.

Even if the South East were asked to put forward a Presidential candidate today or whenever it is finally zoned to the region, these are exactly the same nonsense beefs you'd see and read about.

And one man will come say the Igbos are independents and have no one leader because everyone is a boss. These are actually a result of such a style. It only breeds chaos, disunity and egocentrics.
they are really a confused sect, arrogance and pride coupled with sled centeredness wont allow them have good leadership structure. The Igbo's are really a handful wallahi!

Everybody knows that Atiku will never serve a single term as President if he eventually wins, But some state Governors especially David Umahi are not in support of Atiku candidacy as it will soil 2023 Igbo Presidency.

This Atiku's candidacy is generating too many controversies for my liking. I am one of those that applauded his emergence because I felt he had the wherewithal to match Buhari APC pound-for-pound. But now I am beginning to have a rethink because since his emergence it has been from one crisis to the other. If it is not his alleged corrupt past and visa issuance distractions, it is about Peter Obi choice or southeast governors giving him the cold shoulder. Seems he has too much baggage to deal with. I just tire.

What, you expect him to have a free ride, nothing good comes easy bro, it simply shows he is on the right track. Remember how Buhari was maligned before he won, with all the things propagated against him especially by AIT, who would have thought he had a chance.

It's like you are a 5yr old boy.

You think everyone has forgotten how innocent youths were murdered by the Nigeria Army on the orders of Buhari?

What visible and useful project has Buhari done in the South East to warrant their supports?

Are you seriously expecting Ndigbo to abandon their own son and support a dullard who they haven't and won't benefit anything from? Just because their useless governors ask them to
Lol.
I guess those that voted for Buhari party candidate to defeat PDP candidate in the Anambra governorship election didn't know how those innocent youths were murder in phyton dance in south east.

Only fools don't know that a governor can use his state structures to decide where votes go and it is only when a state governor is against the federal government that he finds things difficult.
