Is The Marriage Certificate A Guarantee Or Key To A Woman's Happiness In Life?

Considering the height & rate of divorce in Africa especially among the celebrity for which alot of us often frown at. unfortunately most women have died in abusive marriages & relationship for which they have laboured & stake in their life in the name of silence. Just as some women see this as a premise to kill their husband or frustrate the life of a man in the name of "we are legally married". It is always at the front page of the everyday news as people abuse each other in marriage in the context of we are legally married as a lot of men & women have thrown caution to the wind in this regard and alot of kids are now a product of this abusive relationship. With the incessant maiming, young women taking to sniper as a recourse to suicide for a quick exit to a miserable life, a married women killing herself husband and kids on the ground of infidelity & at times when the man is reported to be worse than a beast many years after marriage.

Instead of emphasis on human capacity & value adding union, most women with claims to marriage certificates tends to feel better elated as if they were to have a better insurance cover in marriage to guarantee a blissful marriage than their seemingly unfortunate counterparts who are subject of circumstances and engaged in bedeviling or precarious union or relationship.

The confusion seems endless as most men claim that ladies are looking for ready made men & sugar daddy or money bag men to warm their beds & to remain attached and subservient as kitchen maid or bed mate why ladies peg their emphasis on just the need for a responsible man to claim ownership of. The question still boils down to this junction; Is marriage certificate the ultimate price a woman must aspire for as criteria for happiness in life or marriage or what because this kind of question has landed a lot women in the wrong marital footings & as prisoner of conscience with a burrowed rickety heart.

For me, my resolution remains that every marriage has its vulnerability that comes in different shapes, color & sizes without exemption or frivolities of marriage certificate or no marriage certificate. If the emphasis for a union is not focused on value adding or means of happiness, such union would always remain an arsenal of dynamite waiting to go off at the slightest provocation.
