I was getting horrible offers. Finally got something reasonable and on the D day for payment he absconded.
grin grin What goes around comes around. The guy got wiser. He must have stumbled on your caustic reviews on Nissan, and couldn't reconcile (and that's to put it mildly) why you'd be a vendor of a brand associated with Lucifer himself grin

If you follow him here and pay close attention, you would have observed that he has a Nissan.

If he advise you not to buy it, he might be advising you from a professional viewpoint but that doesn't stop you from buying a Nissan.

Corolla has a reputation safety wise in Nigeria and in some cases he advise people to stay away from Corolla for security reasons but that doesn't stop the selling and buying of Corolla on Nairaland or Nigeria in general.

So if he suggest that you should not buy a particular brand, what you need to do is ask questions to have a clear understanding of the message he his trying to get across to you.

Remember, he only ADVICE, final DECISION is for you to take.

I've been on his matter even before he bought the Nissan. I use a Nissan quest and offered to bring it in to him but he refused to have anything to do with Nissan products

Very easy, feed steam into the intake (post MAF) with engine running @ 1.5-2k rpm 1hr later engine is clean.

Be careful though. You can easily flood your engine with hot water while doing this.
The vacuum generated by the engine could easily suck up all the water in the kettle.
The village people are watching.

Monday morning set out 6am, heading to illupeju out early to ensure I don't get stuck in traffic. Getting to ogba, met a familiar face, you going to work? Hop in.
Dropped him off toyin street ikeja... turned under ikeja bridge road is clear not too much traffic doing 120km/hr wishing lagos roads could always be this free.

www.nairaland.com/attachments/8253002_img201811151530144_jpeg557febb9a6552c3ec30ca560ad4a8a40

Looked at my rear view mirrors, no cars behind me but peripheral vision on the right notices something crawling on the front passenger seat shocked

I turn my head to confirm..........

Omo! My liver fail me o undecided it was a matured cockroach and he just disappeared somewhere inside the front passenger seat.

I'm in panic mode reflex action already ensured car is no longer receiving any acceleration cheesy looking for a good spot to park... www.nairaland.com/attachments/8252935_img201812030649489_jpegf7592c91995fa9c55c5622c27f52cce1 I thank God for the layby on the left,
I park like a danfo driver trying to hustle passengers at the bustop came down from the car, then my 2nd sense told me it's monday morning, no let them use you make money so I went back in, turned turned on my hazard lights and stood by the car. angry www.nairaland.com/attachments/8252939_img201812030649456_jpeg942229f1281d21759afa237cccdde0e4

Well your guess is as good as mine, this journey will not continue until I see the lifeless body of that roach outside of my vehicle.

I summon courage open the front passenger door and the hunt begins. This roach take me play, always changing position. I was just wishing I had a Baygon by my side so I could nuke the bastard angry but last last he made a technical blunder by diving under the rear center footmat for cover.... cheesy this was the chance I had been looking for... you know that saying "killing a fly with a sledge hammer" this one was one of those moments, but sadly all I had were my rubber slippers but continuous rpms were applied to achieve a better result grin.

I raised the floor mat and there he was off to meet his maker... at this point I asked my self was he dropped in the car by the brother I picked up by the road undecided could this be one of my village people? Any way threw him out of the cold asphalt, his body already engulfed in uncontrollable spasms. www.nairaland.com/attachments/8252936_img201812030649295_jpege88d5d2d453048d8426e2727ced45f8b

I drive off, but much slower and more vigilant thinking to my self could this be an invasion? Are there more?

true story Morning people, drive safe.

I want to do this but am really scared.

I saw a video of Eric the car doing this by pouring water bit by bit. Is steam a safer way cause my engine makes the knocking especially during harmattan season?

What about the CAT converter, does it not clog it?

If i do the steam, for how long should one do it?

I am thinking of boiling water from a kettle with a pipe connection to intake.
