Let me ask you a single question. If the APC gets voted out of power for non performance 2019. Do we then assume that in the next election cycle say in 2023, the APC should not contest or people should not consider them for office because of what happened 2015 - 2019...?

Because you have to understand how democracy works. Success is rewarded with re-election and tenure elongation for the party, failure is punished with loss pf power and truncation of tenure of the incumbent party. Your problem is that you like most Nigerians cannot just bring yourself to seperating the party from the actors and you have to grow mentally into that scheme of thought. Tje party is an institution seperate from the entity of the individuals that run it.

If people stole or mismanaged resources in the course of their responsibilities, they are now out of power. The immunity that the office gave them is gone and they can be prosecuted but the party is not a human entity amd so cannot be held accountable for the actoins of its principals. The party is a vehicle and cannot be arrested for causing an accident but the driver can.

If the present government runs the country aground and the tenure of President Buhari is ended by the people it does not stop the APC from fielding someone else at the next polls. It will then be the failure of the individual. The vehicle will simply be repaired and put back on the road. You cannot have a race with only one contestant. I just don't understand how you folks reason like that.
