Look at these:


He was allegedly arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearms and threatening to shoot a police officer. This attracts between 10 to 15 years imprisonment.


Today it was reported that he was arraigned and later released on the condition that he should not commit any offence in a year.

1. Remember that he is a police brand ambassador.


2. No charge sheet was shown like they do in similar cases before.

3. No name of magistrate nor lawyer defending him was stated.

4. Asking small doctor to go and commit no offence is what is called "sentencing" in law.

Now you cannot sentence anyone without finding him guilty of same offence. And this is not an offence that can be tried summarily.




It's not possible for any court to have reached such a conclusion in a day.



The proper thing would have been for him to say guilty or no guilty and then be granted bail with sureties usually and then ask to come back again.



5. Small doctor is organising a concert on the 9th of december.



From the foregoing, I say catgorically that all these were publicity stunts to garner attention and awareness about the concert.
