breadplanets: we have already talked, he want me to come so we can be doing shawarma in Port Harcourt and sell in traffic , said he can come up with 50,000 for the business but there is no accommodation and I have to provide accommodation for myself, if I have such money for accommodation in PH, I will rather use it to buy the rest of the things I need for the smallchops business and start immediately, I will find a place to squat till business start moving well . |

Bros, let me let you know something, the guy swindler guy that sent you something was helping you earlier in giving your business ideas through the way he was pushing you but your reaction made him withdraw, I assure you if you had given him more time, he might have finally succeeded in building you through in packaging a good business proposal. That being said. My suggestion is in threads like this not everyone that comments will give you the money you need but you still need to carefully take suggestions advices . I want to assure you that you can get partners here and you can get investors here on Nairaland but you must package your self and business proposal well. Let me tell you this what attracts a partner or investor are 1. How organised your proposal is 2. How real and promising your business proposal looks and 3. The returns they are going to get out of it. Let me analyse these three factors i stated with what you wrote up there. 1. How organised your business proposal is: with what you wrote up there, there are a lot of uncertainties like you are not certain about the city you really want to do this business I kept seeing ph, Abuja, jos etc and you are not even certain of the total amount you need that will give you what you need, in looking for investors or partners you don't assume things, you don't say if I get 180,000 I will start small, if I get 500,000 I will do it the way I want, no. You need to be sure of what you need if it 500,000 that you need break the 500,000 down completely on what you need it for and leave the money at that, people that have that 500,000 are here on Nairaland but they can only approach you only when they see you know what you are doing. 2. How real and promising your business proposal looks: at least you have tried in these area to explain your experience in this field and how capable you are in handling this business and even went further to post evidences here, for that I will commend you. 3.The returns they will get from the busimess : From your writeup I didn't see any where you put something like that and I tell you if I am a potential investor that's one thing I will look out for first. What I mean is something like this e.g if we invest the 500,000 and kick start this business for a start we can make 100,000 a month based on so and so. You getting 60% while the investor 40% or 50% you and 50% for the investor for so and number of year or you say at the end of every month the investor will get 50k for a duration of 2 years then the contract will terminate 50k in 2 years is 1.2m. So an investor that invested 500k and leaves the investment with 1.2m in 2 years didn't invest wrongly. So like I said earlier the money you are looking for is a small money for a lot of guys on Nairaland looking for business opportunities but you must be organised and give them an offer that is obtainable and mouth watering. So you know I have gotten over 3m from some one I didn't know from Adam and I have as well gotten over 4m for another business proposal from someone I mate here on nairaland. It is achievable but you to know how to do a good feasibility study, a good business plan and a good business proposal. Thanks Cc. Eventsmallchops 1 Like |
