The Bishop of Niger Delta West Diocese, Rt Rev. (Dr) Emmanuel Oko-Jaja, has made shocking revelation. The bishop declared that the act of kissing ones bride at the altar during wedding is a sin, therefore could land the conducting pastors and the couple in damnation.

The declaration,no doubt will not go down well with people in certain quarters.

According to him, allowing couples to go through the process in church during their wedding service is unscriptural and therefore be discouraged.

soooooo all who did it are bound for hell.... YET MILLIONS have done it and are dead and gone.... THAT MEANS THEY ALL WENT TO HELL SINCE THEY DIDNT RECEIVE FORGIVENESS FOR SUCH "SIN"

Getting married in the church itself is the greatest of all fraud.

Even the wedding Jesus attended was not conducted in the church/temple/synagogue. All weddings in the bible was conducted according to the tradition of the people.

Only traditional wedding is recognised by God.

Weddings in the church have no spiritual backing. Lots of marriages that started in the church have since collapsed. Even clergymen now divorce their spouses. If there's a special blessing involved, it shouldn't be.

Lots of marriages started in the traditional way still continue to wax stronger.
Nothing guarantees or can convince any reasonable person that church weddings are better.
