This could be your Time if only you can shun ethnic policies or divide and rule

He had all the moral support you can ever want politically in 2015, he failed against a first-timer, you think he can come up with any magic this time

You guys keep setting yourselves up for big disappointments in 2019

This is a good decision by Jimi but he needs to do more in terms of making his presence felt both with the masses and with the elites.

Imagine his opponent has done underground works by meeting with the elites and making sure they give him their word of support, eg, Otedola, an some obas in Lagos, entertainers, etc.

These people listed above are influencers whether you agree or not. They have loyalists who can do all they desire irrespective of their personal choices.

Masses are good but try to court the elites if you are to win in the forthcoming election.

Please Jimi, I know it won't be easy for you to win but I don't want you to make it easy for them to win either.

So much wisdom!!

Even if Jimi is an Angel, he will NEVER be governor of Lagos State. He cursed his chances the moment he played the ethnic card.

Oh pls shut up with this your ethnic card you only have 1 vote so shut up.

Yes, Tinubu is from Abakaliki.

Ohaneze: Igbos own 99% or Lagos
Ipob: 98.5 of Lagos landlords are Igbo
Chiedu7: Tinubu inherited the whole of Lagos.

They should just lock down the entire SE and conduct mental tests for you.

He's not doing ethnic politics. Igbos living in lagos have right to vote and candidates can solicit there votes.
The support igbos gave him in 2015 steered anger in the obajaja of Lagos hence " I will throw them in to lagoon" saga.

Thanks for your comment .

I don't wish him to fail but i have not seen strategy to win. Mr Jimi & his party are just too cold on Lagos politics.

He should embrace the Obas councils if he can't access Oba of Lagos. He needs to break rank in APC, cause trouble in APC party, play the Bismarckian diplomacy, share ideology with some new parties like ADC, Sowore , Fela Durotoye in order to gather support . Engaged your opponents in discussion, visit Local governments area won by PDP to inspire them, gather support from Lagos mainland ahead of his opponent.
