Dantedasz:Well that could be God trying to bring order in a then disorderly society. Maybe the society treated slaves badly and God helped them bring in some form of justice that is fair to both parties. Below are words of God on the treatment of animals. (If he cared about animals why not the servants/slaves) * "If you see the donkey of someone who hates you fallen down under its load, do not leave it there; be sure you help them with it." Exodus 23:5 * "Humans and animals have the same destiny. One dies just like the other. All of them have the same breath of life. Humans have no advantage over animals. All of life is pointless. All life goes to the same place. All life comes from the ground, and all of it goes back to the ground." Ecclesiastes 3:19-20.. * "You should work six days a week, but on the seventh day you must rest. This lets your ox and your donkey rest , and it also lets the slave born in your house and the foreigner be refreshed. Be sure to do all that I have said to you . You must not even say the names of other gods; those names must not come out of your mouth." Exodus 23:12-13 * "When an ox is working in the grain, do not cover its mouth to keep it from eating." Deuteronomy 25:4 * Jacob said to him, “ Sir, you know that the children are frail and that I have to take care of the flocks and cattle that are nursing their young. If they’re driven too hard for even one day, all the flocks will die . Go ahead of me, sir. I will slowly and gently guide the herds that are in front of me at their pace and at the children’s pace until I come to you in Seir.” Genesis 33:13-14 * "He provides the animals with their food, and the young ravens, what they cry for. He is not impressed by the strength of a horse; He does not value the power of a man. The Lord values those who fear Him, those who put their hope in His faithful love." Deuteronomy 22:6-7 Be sure you know how your sheep are doing, and pay attention to the condition of your cattle . Proverbs 27:23 |

LordReed: Except that my church leaders will not rise up today to say that Armageddon has commenced. We understand very well what the Armageddon is. The annihilation of sinners that will take place in the fires of hell is a righteous judgment. Even you have to agree. Does evil have any right to exist forever? 1 Like |

DoctorAlien: Yes you understand Armageddon is a war and on whose side have you been told you'll be fighting on? Everlasting punishment for finite crimes is the result of people who could not think of what a transcendent being would do. It is nonsensical it the light of how developed our justice systems have become. So this your god has no way to rehabilitate its supposedly creation yet you think it all powerful? LMFAO! |

LordReed:It is not a physical war, and I am on the side of Christ. Everlasting punishment for finite crimes is the result of people who could not think of what a transcendent being would do. It is nonsensical it the light of how developed our justice systems have become. So this your god has no way to rehabilitate its supposedly creation yet you think it all powerful? LMFAO!Many Christians have many views of hell, and mine May differ from others. Which justice system has developed? Lol. The moral compass of the Children of God has ever been set and is immutable. Only you atheists try to adopt a moral system which in your worldview has no basis on which it can be said to be binding on all. All powerful must mean many things to you unbelievers. I will not be surprised if I see an argument like "God cannot sin, therefore He's not all powerful". Anyway, God cannot rehabilitate anyone against the person's will and without the person's cooperation. There is still chance for you to be rehabilitated today. It's just that God cannot wait for sinners forever, and the probation has to end one day. 1 Like |

DoctorAlien: Ah so Christ is not coming to earth on a white horse to destroy his enemies along with thousands of his saints? OK good to know. LoL. It is not surprising you can not see the contradictions in what you write. Your moral compass is fixed but a few posts ago you were saying you supported genocide yesterday but not today. That to you is the symbol of something that is fixed. LMFAO! So tell us what all powerful means. Where is the god rushing to that it cannot have infinite patience? Is it a man that only has one lifetime? |

Frosbel, Frosbel! How body nau? You've joined the ranks of Christians-turned-antichristian. Where did that journey start again? Ah, yes! You started by attacking the deity of the Lord Jesus, didn't you? And who was warning you so fervently about it? There were at least three I remember: Mr Anony, Enigma, and, oh, Ihedinobi. Now, here you are doing none other than attacking the Bible. Quite the turnaround, isn't it? Been seeing things like this since I was in junior high. Not surprising at all. Just sad. Anyway, regarding your post, I endorse DoctorAlien's response completely. I'm not sure I could say it better than he did. It really is very telling that when you people run into antichristian arguments, you jump on it like it's the first time anybody ever made it. Why you never bother to properly research it to be sure that there have not been more defenses than the new recycler of these arguments pointed out must only be that you simply don't care what the Truth is. You just want some fancy new lie to show off. Except it's not new at all. This challenge has been around forever and it has been invalidated for just as long. So, do some research. Or easier still, just read DoctorAlien's first post. 2 Likes |

Global debt hits all-time high of $184,000,000,000,000 https://www.rt.com/business/446526-global-debt-hits-record/ The world’s debt currently exceeds $86,000 per person on average, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The US, China, and Japan are the top three global borrowers, accounting for more than half of the global debt. The IMF has calculated that their share of debt exceeds that of output. It stated that the emergence of China among the top ranking is, however, a relatively new development. Since the beginning of the millennium, China’s share in global debt surged from less than three percent to over 15 percent, underscoring the rapid credit surge in the aftermath of the global financial crisis. According to the IMF, global debt has reached a record high of $184 trillion in nominal terms. That’s the equivalent of 225 percent of the world GDP in 2017. The debt figure is $2 trillion higher than the estimated number released by the fund in October, because it includes the debts of several countries who had not previously reported their updated data. |
