A lot of Nigerian politicians do not deal with fact and figures, there campaign is based on sentiments and useless soundbites..Watch Kenyan, Rwandan or even our neighbors Ghanaian political class then you realise how overrated our education system is..Most Nigerians do not think critically, we are way too emotional.. Moghalu seems to be different, probably due to his exposure having worked as a lecturer at Tuft Uni and of course spending 17 years at the UN helps.. 6 Likes 1 Share |

What was a bit irritating about him was his intellectual arrogance. He kept talking about 'your country' and hardly said 'our country'! He had no pen, paper or tablet. he never took notes. HR 101 - Dont hire anyone who does not take notes and who assumes he has all facts in his head. Now, he has fooled himself by rolling out fake figures. Before now, people have alluded that some of the things he was saying on The Platform were lies, such as owning only 1 wrist watch. 7 Likes 1 Share |

safarigirl: Why won't I be concerned about someone who is hell bent on propagating falsehood to clinge power, someone who wants to make Nigeria work again with lies, you keep referring to bogus population figures even in the other thread, need I remind you that the last census was conducted under PDP, and there's no way a government of 3yrs can conduct a new census under such limited amount of time they have been in power especially when its gonna cost over 272billion naira with our dwindling resources for that matter. I was really expectant of Peter Obi yesterday, but the "feasible lies" he peddled were a big turn off and evident of the fact that PDP hasn't learnt any lesson, they're desperados and hell bent on peddling whatever will suit the narrative of gullible voters, that was the modus operandi of PDP for 16yrs, and you want us to bring such people back!! 14 Likes 6 Shares |

NessaBoo:how is there no way a government of 6 years can conduct a population census? In 2018 for that matter! How? Is it the apparatus that cannot be arranged? What have they been doing sine if not preparing for such tasks? How can you say they cannot conduct a population census after three years? Were there no plans for a census by the previous administration? What happened to those plans? Is this no longer a government of continuity? Why are you concerned about people who are not in power and blisfully ignoring the false numbers paraded by those who should be in the know? I thought you were a neutral person, but your worries are obviously in the wrong place, forcing me to change my earlier opinion. If Peter Obi reeling out false numbers is your problem, not the fact that APC has sent us into poverty capital of the world as well as worsened the number of out of school children, then you are barking up the wrong tree. Yesterday, I learnt that 3 million more kids were out of school in Kano. You would also call that false numbers, abi? Anyway, the point of a debate is not to convince everyone, it is to convince the majority and going by the polls so far, Peter Obi achieved his aim. Whether you were impressed or not is immaterial. APC people are going about picking at numbers, not one of them has bothered to say a thing about Osibanjo's performance. They have a losers mentality, rather than commend yourself, you resort to attacking the opponent's points, because you know you don't have any to begin with. Losers mentality Have a nice day. 1 Like |
