As we come to know God and enter into relationship with him we must become acquainted with the Father's voice. We must be able to tell the difference between His voice in our head and the voice of our old man. And we must begin to learn to submit and always follow His voice.

Even as we get acquainted with the Father's voice, we do not stop their. We must also become acquainted with the indwelling Life (Christ in us, the life of the son). We must be able to tell the difference between the Life of the Son (as he seeks to express himself through us), from the life of our old man, the man that once dominated us. This way we learn to yield more to the Life (Christ) and let the old man decrease and reduce to the grave.

While all that is happening we must also learn to become acquainted with the Helper (the Holy Spirit). We must be able to notice him as he desire to empower us (to live the Christian life) and we must learn to enter into that empowerment.

The Christian life is a life caught up in the Godhead (the Father, Son and Spirit), we grow into the fullness of God. Sadly many of us are not growing in this way, somehow our growth have been hindered, we have been stucked somewhere and we have filled the gap with religion.
