I am with EzeUche on this point; it seems unfair to just dump every thread that discusses a certain Ethnic Group in the Ethnics, Racial, and Sectarian section. If such a rigid interpretation is enforced, most of the topics in the politics section should be there as well. Secondly, topics on Biafra, Boko Haram, etc should not be in the same section as ridiculous topics such as 'which tribe is the most ugly', 'white girls are better than black dogs', 'which tribe steals the most?' The latter subjects are particularly offensive whilst a discussion on Biafra isn't.

If certain posters are bent on turning some topics to battlegrounds, the recent hard policy of banning should be enforced.

Seun moved this thread to the Business/Money thread ( https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-710377.99999.html#bot ). The discussion bothers on economic matters and political undertones in the appointment of Sanusi. It should be in the Politics section; can someone look into this and return it to the Politics Section?

I understand your annoyance, Katsumoto.  I felt similarly when an active thread of mine kept getting moved.  But, Seun previously explained (surprisingly humbly, I might add) that interest/participation in the Business/Money section is waning and he is attempting to reinvigorate it.

I've heard and felt that before too - the point about topics not receiving the proper attention if they are not in certain sections.  This is why lots of threads that truly belong in Sexxuality are in Romance and lots of threads that belong in other places including Foreign Affairs are started in Politics.

I am coming around to the idea of redistributing popular topics to other areas that may be applicable. 

Eku and Katsumoto just killed over, I know. Redistributing sounds too much like socialism to those die-hard capitalists (more like dog-eat-dog survival of the fittest Darwinists).

How is an evaluation of Sanisi and the undertones concerning his appointment related to Business and Money? Is the Business and Money section not for those interested in Business ventures?
