Information from close aides of Gov. Amosun's cabinet has revealed that the governor has disbursed a whopping amount of N1bn for the launching and campaign activities of the new party (APM) of his anointed candidate, Hon. Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade.

The huge amount of money was siphoned from the Paris fund released to Ogun states by President Buhari. The governor has also branded 57 buses from which he bought from the Paris fund

Amosun who is a member of the APC has been engaging in anti-party activities by openly announcing his total supports for his anointed candidate, who's now the governorship candidate of the new party, APM.

According to the aide, the governor told them (close aides) that President Buhari truly warned him of his anti-party activities but he is going ahead with his support for APM.

However, it is on records that students of MAPOLY who ought to have finished the 2017/2018 academic session are yet to start their second semester examination (17/18 academic session) due to failure of the Amosun government to pay some outstanding salaries and allowances owing the lecturers. The government of Amosun is still owing them salaries of last year (2017) November and December and that of 2018 September, October and November, he's still owing them payments of conference markings done in the past and he has failed to do promotional examinations for those who are due for promotion at work.

Like that of MAPOLY, lecturers of Tai Solarin College of Education, TASCE are also suffering in the hand of Amosun over failure to pay them 28 months salaries and 48 months arrears totalling N4.3bn. They appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene in the “sorrowful situation”, which has led to the death of 45 of their members since 2011.

The same Amosun who cannot pay lecturers is now spending 1 billion naira to ensure his anointed candidate becomes governor after him at the detriment of Ogun state students and lecturers who don't know what becomes of their academic career.
