The Media Team of Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru Campaign Organization has taken sweep on a statement credited to Delta state PDP campaign organization through its Publicity Committee Chairman, Hon. Timi Tonye, noting that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has been an arrowhead in the PDP deceitful cabal that held Delta down since 1999.

But in a statement signed by Mrs Osama-Agho Stephanie for Chief Great Ogboru Media and Strategic Communication team, said the over 20-years PDP led government in Delta state has been shrouded in deceit and inept leadership which has caused the state to remain stagnated while its counterparts is developing.

The statement added: “Deltans can no longer be deceived by these cult-like PDP-led government, we are not unaware of how Governor Okowa stampede the leadership of the teleguide Delta State House of Assembly to reject the passage of the local government financial autonomy bill when it was brought before the House during the constitutional amendment.

One presidential candidate is said to be slow and lacking in ideas but he is giving looters a tough time.

The other presidential candidate is said to have some ideas but some people point to his past misdeeds and want to conclude that he cant be trusted.

There are several other candidates who grossly lack political base. Some of them do not even have candidates in many positions.

What kind of thing is this? We have PVC but we are not sure who to use it for!

May be the one alleged to have participated in looting can earn some trust by declaring his past loots and returning some of them!

Or maybe the one that is said to be slow can pick up some action and also announce some fresh ideas (like re-structuring!).

People, instead of screaming and abusing yourselves over B or A, why dont you ponder and pray, may be there is a C or an M we should be voting for?

This great country deserves better.

Actually, when you read the comments on social media, you will realize that our politicians are quite smart. They know so well that they have little or nothing to offer (they just seem to like power for the sake of it!), so they play on the gullibility of the people, by promising them what they possibly cannot deliver. One says I will reduce the price of fuel to N45, yet the people cannot ask - How? The other says, I will restructure, and the people wont bother to ask - How and into what?
