It will be a sad day today for many Kenyans and beauty pageant fans.

Ruth Kamande is a beauty queen in Kenya. She won Miss World Kenya Beauty Contest in 2013.

In September 2015, she stabbed her boyfriend Farid Mohammed 22 times and killed him.

It was said that she enjoyed each and every stab wound she inflicted on his dead boyfriend. She has no remorse.

She claimed she killed him out of jealousy, when she discovered that he was still keeping in touch with his former girlfriend.

Ruth Wanjiru Kamande was found guilty of murder and sentenced to death in 2017.

Ruth will be put to death later today by hanging.

The maxim first stated by Sir Thomas Overbury "BEAUTY IS ONLY SKIN DEEP"
 in his poem "A WIFE" comes to my mind.

The meaning of the maxim is that external attractiveness has no relation to goodness or essential QUALITY.

I THINK SHE IS SO OBSESSED BY HER BEING CROWNED MISS KENYA AND CAN'T IMAGINE HER BOY FRIEND LOOK ELSE WHERE.

That anger mixed with jelousy has landed her neck for the rope that will hang her beautiful body before it is laid 6 feet beneath the Earth to rot.
