Reno Omokri, ex-aide on New Media to immediate past President Goodluck Jonathan, has revealed one of the purported strong members of the cabal allegedly controlling President Muhammadu Buhari government.

He made the disclosure on Sunday, while sharing a photo of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor, Godwin Emefiele, bending to listen to one Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua, whisper instructions to his ear.

Funtua, who is the Chairman of Bulet International Construction Company, is reportedly said to be a close friend of President Buhari, and his ears on national issues, including appointments.

He tweeted: “This is the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He is bowing down to receive instructions from Samaila Isa Funtua, a member of the cabal controlling ⁦Buhari⁩.

“If you thought ⁦Aisha Buhari⁩ lied, I hope this photo convinces you.”

Recall that Mrs. Buhari recently sparked nationwide controversy when she alleged that two powerful men are slowing down the progress of her husband’s government.

This was a picture taken during one of PMB's visits abroad.

Check the date of this picture. It was during the early days of PMB's regime when he had not yet appointed any minister.

It is therefore very much expected that:

1) The two men sitted were people whom anyone would expect to make up top member's of the ministerial cabinet.
2) PMB may have unofficially assigned certain roles (such as the very much known transition committee saddled with collecting reports from ALL govt bodies)
3) The fate of the CBN governor was natuarally at stake and he would therefore be looking to show loyalty to PMB and PMB's would-be ministers.
4) By virtue of their age difference, the older man perhaps was already sitted and wanted to discuss a private matter with the CBN governor who s obviously younger and plays more of an office role when around the president, hence the courtesy.


Above all, if this is anybody's problem with PMB, then they should tell us about GEJ's era. His wife was practically in charge, followed by three other women. GEJ had almost no idea what was going on in power.
