Government was quick to remove subsidy claiming it will put an end to queues forever but to put the educational sector in order forever, they are reluctant to do that. Bloody hypocrites.

What shall it profit the country to call off now and embark on strike by December? Better get full compliance first.

If this is truly ASUU seeking public opinion on whether to call off the strike, then I must say they are very stupid! I believe ASUU should know that there are many who benefit from their incessant strikes and would not want them to call off the strike. Assuming more of such people were online at the time of this poll and voted against calling off the strike, ASUU would now rely on them to take a stand on the strike

Let me just believe this is not ASUU

My thoughts too. They should engage concerned folks in the society. This strike will continue if people that are supposed to fight with ASUU have their wards outside Nigeria or in private universities.

Their should print or circulate in media what their demands are, what the country stands to gain and why the FG is defaulting or where they have defaulted. Else some folks won't understand.

Truth is, university education is underfunded. Heck, what am I even saying: Everything in Nigeria is underfunded.

ASUU should wait for the government's compliance because governments won't take them serious next time

I understand how you feel. But showing your anger won't solve the problem. Just explain to the person why some attitude is not for people who claim to be responsible.

I've even seen adults who behave immaturely.

Calm down sister. cheesygrin

Nigeria should collapse and a new nation should spring up.
There can never be full compliance of the federal government and strike is an every year thing.
Its even a course you must do in school twobor three times before you graduate.
Your head is there, we can never have full compliance of that agreement even in the next 15yrs except we wan short down governance in the nation for university (not education) which would result to a spiral effect

Why not seek for public opinion before the strike? Public opinion doesn't matter at this time.

ASUU is just a toothless bulldog, it has been hiding under the vacation and holiday which majority of them were in already.

January has come they are now the ones begging to end their strike, why not wait till fg compromise if you are damn serious, this is just a stunt to base their call off on.

Confused bunch

Nigerians like short term gratification.. We cure symptoms and leave the illness..Why not insist on FULL government implementation so such strike wont happen again in the future!

You think Government that took 2 months to give 15 billion would part with 300 billion anytime soon? It would just be a futile effort and everyone would lose without achieving any good.

ASUU should not call off the strike till full compliance is adhered to by FG.

If they miss it now, it will take another 4 years for them to get it right. This government is a joker, taking everyone to be a pawn.

Are you now blaming them for what Pdp government agreed but couldn't implement?

I am one of those idióts, I am sure calling off the strike will win the poll but voted for full compliance regardless. We just want to eat and break plate, watch as they embark on another strike in a few months time if at least 50% of their demands wasn't met. And i bet you that strike would be the longest ever since election is over and the FG isn't on a tight spot anymore.
