Egypt’s Al-Azhar University has just expelled it’s female student after she was caught on tape hugging a male student.

In the video which has since gone viral, a young man was seen holding a bouquet of flowers before going down to propose to the said lady.

Although the video was not filmed in the school but in another school, Mansoura University in the northern part of the country. Even at that, the school disciplinary committee on Saturday decided to expel the female student definitely, university spokesman Ahmed Zariw told AFP.

The expelled student, however has the right to appeal the expulsion, Zarie said. However, the young man who was captured in the video could also answer queries, a spokesman for Mansoura University said, Concluding that the disciplinary committee will on Monday meet to decide his punishment.
