Seun Kuti in a new Instagram post, slammed parents attending political rallies while their kids are at home due to ASUU Strike. Seun Kuti who stated that a hijab crisis in a secular school can create more outrage than the closure of our university, wondered if parents attending political rallies while their kids are at home due to ASUU strike are mad.

He wrote;

“Your children aren't attending school but u are attending political rally. Are you maaaad?

Until we are ready to serve our children and not just raise them, we shall never understand national development. How hijab crisis in a secular school can create more outrage than the closure of our university for months is the proof we need to know that we are willing to serve everything else but our children. Learn to serve your children not just raise them! #getthesax.”

Majority of Nigerian parents just live for themselves, Thoughts about their Kids come last. Even when some try to think of their kids, they get so myopic and consider their kids alone without thoughts about the kids of the next man and how it would directly influence their own kids and the environment they will grow up in

truth be told your statement is simply why Nigeria is where it is today. always satisfied with the PDP or APC wrapper, one derica of rice and one thousand naira shared at rally than your children's future. what is it that they will tell you at the rally that you have never heard before. your absence of everyone at the rally could be a peaceful way of demonstrating our anger towards bad governance.
it ur generation that could not summon the courage to fight foolishness in our country, one derica of rice is what una know

What made GEJ dropped the ideal of subsidy?
Continues protest from day 1 to day 6,you see take a look at the rally you will see unbelievable crowd. If parents decide to come out in mass to challenge the Federal government to settle their dispute with ASSU before talking about election You will see changes.

no pls tell me what the parents should do na...no pls tell me..! Under this regime what do they want to do..!!
With all due respect, I will tell you. Parents should boycott policians and their gatherings, they should wake up and understand that their children's future is on the edge of collapse and let the government understand what they stand for. Besides, parents can vote without attending political rallies.

You are very right Seun, awon atenuje, hypocrites that's who they are, sold there children destiny for a derica of rice. Rather than hold government responsible for their children out of school, they are going to clap hands. Fools, do they think the politicians have anything good go better the lifes of their children? No.

Nice observation...but they are not mad, we have to hear what our proposed leaders have in mind before electing them. Besides, what if the strike is called off tomorrow and they missed the rally today?

so only those that attended rally are allowed to vote? those that attend rallies are usually party faithfuls or those that are expecting financial reward or those that are just idle and there to feed their eyes.

he's 99% right!!!
