Even without attending the debate, President Buhari wins the day. It was proved beyond every reasonable doubt that he is the only one that matters in this election. And Mr. President decided it was best for him to keep engaging the people directly. And it was a great outing in Jos.

Buhari's absence from the debate proved the other candidates are just in it for the side attraction.

The biggest loser of the day is Atiku. Whatever goodwill he got from visiting US as Saraki's aide and forming Eddie Murphy wannabe, was flushed away the moment he left the venue without participating in the debate.

Instead of ceasing the opportunity to shine, Atiku display his naivety, incompetence and shallow strategy. All Atiku had in mind was how to quickly sell national assets to his "Friends". Buhari's opponents were not there with plans for Nigeria, they merely went to drop talking points and take cheap shots.

How can a man who forged waec certificate attend a debate filled with intellectuals and professionals? The least certificate owned by those who debated yesterday would probably be a B.Sc. Now tell me how a semiliterate buhari with empty brain would have been able to compete with them?. Besides can't u see how healthy and sound those presidential candidates were unlike ur buhari whose new style these days is to be fainting all over the place grin

OP point of correction the only people that matter is the People or the Masses not the contestants and the People wanted to see and hear first and foremost the President so that there will not be any need for any party to denial and say the Debate was "DOCTORED, ENGINEERED or NURSED"...

Asking PMB to join the debate is like asking a host nation of world cup to play qualifying match

APC is the host nation while PDP and others are to play qualifying matches and since PDP did not appear on the debate they should be worked over

Atiku Abubakar claimed he opted for the debate because of the absence of PMB

Please ask Atiku Abubakar if debate is war?

Did Atiku Abubakar intend to update Nigerians on his capabilities and agendas to rule Nigeria or to attack PMB?
