Why is violence the first reaction of muslims to any utterance or action that they perceive is against their god and religion? If their god is not man-made then I presume he/she/it is greater than man. So why fight for or defend him/her/it? I need answers from muslims. Any god that I will need to fight for or defend instead of being the other way round does not worth being my god.

When you go out to hustle, you are helping yourself.   This cannot be compared to fighting for God.  Fighting for Allah means you are helping Allah who is supposed to be 'all-powerful'.   Or isn't he?
