Chris Brown Released without Charge after Rape Accusation in Paris

US Singer, Chris Brown has been released without charge from police custody in Paris shortly after his detainment on Tuesday following a rape allegation.

This was disclosed by the French prosecutor on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

According to the French Prosecutor, Chris Brown was released alongside two other people who were identified as his bodyguard and a friend. The prosecutor however added that the investigation is still ongoing.

Chris Brown Slams Defamation Lawsuit against Paris Rape Accuser
US singer, Chris Brown will on Thursday, January 24, 2019, file a countersuit against his accuser in a rape allegation in Paris, the French capital.

This was disclosed by Brown’s lawyer, Raphael Chiche.

“Chris Brown is free. No lawsuits were filed against him. He vigorously challenges the charges against him. A complaint for slanderous denunciation will be filed tomorrow with the public prosecutor of Paris.”

YouTube Removes Tiwa Savage’s One Video over Copyright Claim

Video-sharing website YouYube has deleted Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage’s ‘One’ video from its music streaming service.

The video was taken down from Youtube barely a month after its release in December 2018.

Tiwa Savage expressed gratitude for all that had come her way during the course of the year in the “One” video which was shot on the beach and Osokoro community in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
