Subtract the debt you left when you handed over to Fayose at the end of your first tenure. Then come back and tell us the real debt Fayose left. 1 Like |

NaijaRoyalty: He stole the state's money to buy waterbed that he installed inside the same state house that belongs to the same state? When you steal, is it not always for personal use and not official use? It's like it's always a must for you Igbos to never make any damn sense. |

Fayose is a very bad man. Unfortunatel he will be a key actor in an Atiku Abubakar presidency if PDP gets back into power. Nigeria is between a rock and a hard place. |

NaijaRoyalty: Don't mind those uncritical minds. He thinks we've forgotten how he(fayemi) put Ekiti into monumental debt of high proportion? The debt which was responsible for deductions FG made from monthly allocation accruable to the State. Now, he was busy quoting the total sum of monies that's supposed to be the allocations to the State for the four years of Fayose. Why would Fayemi choose not to probe Fayose's govt if he's not a culprit himself? Devil is a liar. I know the man would react at the appropriate time. If you know, you know. 3 Likes |

SenorFax: You're link shows that Fayemi left 86 billion loan for Fayose, now Fayose is leaving 150 billion. Therefore Fayose accrued 64 billion. Don't forget according to the APC, Fayemi was operating in time of plenty. |

Fayemi is already laying foundation for more debt in Ekiti. He said he paid N21.7m for JAMB forms for 3000 students. Ok, let's do the maths Jamb Form- #3500 Registration charge- #700 Recommended book- #800 Miscellaneous. - #300 Total- #5300 #5300*3000 youths= #15,900,00. 21,700,000-15,900,000= 5,800,000. Fayemi is a scam. No wonder Fayose will always beat him.

tempest01:Let’s agree with the bolded. If Fayose was not paying salaries because he wanted to pay up the debts (according to Fayose’s claims), how did the debt profile rise to 150 billion? |

This is really appalling for a state to have and income that surpassed its liability and yet owe about 75% of its income as debt. I actually did not expect much from that noise maker. What capital project did Fayose execute to show for this humongous debt? Even if he inherited 50bn debt now its over 150bn? That's criminal. With PWC as auditor you could be sure some credibility has been attached to these figures. I wish Fayemi well and pray more Ekiti elites look the way of politics so the state can become better. |
Re: Fayose Left #155.79billion Debt –fayemi by sojiboy(m): 10:09am On Jan 25, 2019 |
SenorFax:Fayemi didn't owe a time.before he left office, there was no pupil taxing, there were free education and waec and jamb were free, students hot laptop and teacher got core subject and rural allowances, Fayemi was paying bursary and scholarship were timely paid, what of Youth in commmercial Agricultural Developments YCAd, there were employment in Fayemi's time, no elected officers were owed, fire fighters, peace corps and Ekiti state transport Management agency allnwere recruited and paid salary, what aboutbwomen who sweep the road side the monthly Welfare/Stipends package of Fayemi for the aged, how about free healthcare for children btw 0-5yrs and aged people..all these and many more Fayemi did, also he had infrastructure build all in the while...But Fayose came all these were missing built bridge that leads no where to accrue from the state pirse. Shame.on u all that knows nothing about Ekiti but come here to spill nonsense |
