When a public servant has more than his legitimate earnings as savings or investment, he is expected to account for it.

FALSE!!! THEY DONT NEED HIS APPROVAL!!!! WHICH CHAIRMAN APROVED TOMOROW'S MEETING BTW

◾The council shall hold meetings at such times and place as the chairman may appoint.
Notwithstanding the provision of paragraph (1) of this regulation, a meeting of the council shall be convened if five or more members make a request to that effect, in writing to the chairman, specifying the business to be transacted.
◾Every meeting of the council shall be presided by the chairman and in his absence, by a member selected by a simple majority of members present and/or nominations in the call of expression of interest and in the request for nomination.
◾The quorum for a meeting shall not be less than one-third of the total number of the council members as at the date of that meeting.
◾A member shall be entitled to one vote and the simple majority votes shall be the decision of the council.

Please interpret this statement;
Notwithstanding the provision of paragraph (1) of this regulation, a meeting of the council shall be convened if five or more members make a request to that effect, in writing to the chairman, specifying the business to be transacted.

What does the word request mean to you and what happens if the request is rejected?

We are in unusual times, so the chairmanship position is contentious. So who did the five members address tomorrow's sitting letter to, Onnoghen or Tanko?

Pachukuchuku the same NJC who was suspended has given that ruling already as he interpretated the constitution regarding the powers of the CCT as given by our constitution.

The CCT is not a regular court.

You are so ignorant

Pachukwudi, is NJC, it's members and the judiciary in general insulated from the law?
This is a statement from the NJC;

The NJC also informed DSS that it was not amenable to “invitations being extended to judicial officers by departments and agencies of government for any reason”.
https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2016/10/11/how-njc-rejected-dss-request-to-probe-judges/?amp

In effect judicial officers are a law unto themselves.

It is for the reason of accountability and probity as well as guide against corruption,in the public service, every public servant is expected to fill the CC form as at when due. By extension, the CCB/,CCT were established to investigate and try any infractions thereof. The CCT/CCB are products of the constitution.

Have u asked yourself how Obj was able to get his bidding in the House of Assembly as President without going against the Constitution?
Obj was able to that because there was no opposition, few media channel and lastly, Nigerians weren't as divisive as it was now.

The CCT has suspended his trial indefinitely grin

The law is on the side of the CCT.

His suspension just became an indefinite one.

His case keys have been thrown into the sea.

Court of Appeal cannot counter the CCTs punishment recommendation as supported by the powers vested on them by our constitution.
