An editing company is in need of editors and ghostwriters. Tasks to be performed include proofreading, line editing, developmental editing, and ghostwriting for fiction and creative nonfiction manuscripts.

Please be aware that the above services involve multi-level editing (1-2 revisions to ensure that the client is satisfied with the changes). Depending on the author's preference, you might need to make corrections on a first/second draft. It'll never exceed two sets of changes.

Also, rates do not change regardless of revision cycles. Pay increases as you progress with us.

Payment for these tasks are as follows:

(a.) Proofreading (You will check and correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling errors; 1 revision cycle)

Proofreading position pays N0.70 per word.

(b.) Line editing (You will check and correct the author's punctuation, grammar, spelling, sentence & paragraph structure, writing style, and writing voice; 2 revision cycles).

Line editing position pays N0.90 per word

c. Developmental editing: You will check and correct sentence & paragraph structure, writing style & writing voice. If plot, characters, dialogue etc. have issues, you are expected to liaise with the author to fix these issues by rewriting or fleshing out these sections; 2 revision cycles)

Developmental editing position pays N2 per word

d. Ghostwriters will have several interview sessions with the client where they are expected to gather useful information. After that, they will drafts outline and work with the client until they are satisfied with the manuscript)

This role pays N3 per word

We would like the letter to be written in prose format. Feel free to be as creative as you want when writing this letter (as prose).
