Stephen Ireland is a luxury player!! He may be more technically gifted than Milner but Milner puts in more work mehn i would rather have Milner in my team

why would anyone pay £18m for James Milner and throw in Stephen Ireland as part of the deal? Ireland is just as good a player as Milner although probably a bit more mental.

Milner's work rate is devilish but i'll go for Ireland; better ball skills, great technique, more guile and craft and not so predictable unlike Milner. Milner is the typical mechanical English footballer, good though, but i'll rather have an Ireland

Villa in my opinion got the better of the deal. In my opinion Ireland should be worth just as much as Milner. Their different styles can both yield trophies if used well. Milner had crazy work-rate,but he will never have as good a eye for a pass like Ireland does. If villa use that 18M well (thats a LOT of money),they will still finish the seasom on top of citeh.
