Yeah, I do agree with the various submissions from different posters, yours inclusive, but I also think that karmaic effects can be mitigated by genuine repentance and asking for mercy by the offender, although the karma will eventually land on the person that commit it but with acts of mercy and seeking for forgiveness from God, the effects might reduce, I am not sure but just thinking out loud

As regards the debate on karma, it seems the kind of karma working in Nigeria fears wicked, wealthy people.

See their kids taking your jobs...The tragedy they experience are same with normal, innocent people.

You know ,, I keep wondering ,, why it delays to strike many people,, who have been indulging in grievious crimes,
Right now ,, they are many abnormalies in our society .. people are been maimed ,, many things are going wrong ...
In our societies. We have evil doers .. it's funny how they are living long ..
Many of our politicians,, sacrifice human flesh just for fame .. and our religious societies,,, that is the worst .. alot of evil is been carried out .
I think Karma should be acting fast ,, it should not wait ,, for 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 of the atrocity to be committed again before it strikes ..

In as much as I agree with your points, l also think that we are still in the era of confession, mercy, grace and forgiveness, someone can commit a crime and run back to God Almighty for forgiveness and mercy, it is solely the discretion of God to forgive but the individual might still be served his own karma but I think the effects of the karma might reduce because of the pardon received from the creator, this are my opinion though.

God is a patient and merciful God that is always seeking to bring his creation to Godliness and sometimes it takes a life time for such to happen in the life of an individual, even the thief on the cross was forgiven by Christ at the last minute

Lol, God is God Almighty and his ways are mysterious, he created the entire universe with billions of stars and also created humans, I can't question the way he runs the universe but as regards why other climes like Europeans / Chinese and even some countries that don't believe in God and things are going on fine with them but Nigeria / Africa seems to be backward, I don't have a concise answer to it but one thing I do know is this God Almighty is kind, merciful, just, righteous, I can't question him because I am not qualified to do that, Only God knows what he is doing
