On this issue, Kanu is shining on the ignorance of many Nigerians about their history. Atiku is a Nigerian by virtue of the 1961 referendum where Northern Cameroon decided to be a part of Nigeria.

Let's use the crimea In Ukraine as an example.

The crimea wants to be part of Russia, although Ukraine is against it...but lets assume they agree and everything is made official and Crimea is officially a Russian territory or city. In the next like 40-60years when someone from Crimea wants to run for public office, one mad man will now say, no it can't be, he is Ukrainian??
