Do your best to make sure your children don't attend Nigerian universities.

Answer one question only.
What's the need being a political science student when you don't know more than 40 political parties in Nigeria?
At least 40/71 is not a bad score

LordIsaac:
This is the problem with Nigerian education. How will knowing these things contribute to knowledge? How will it be applied to solve life's problems. This is 400 level for God's sake... Chei!

You make it seem impossible to not be able to make a whole list as to answering such a question of which it's so EASY if truely these students are hoping to be GENUINE POLITICAL SCIENTIST.

Ask a GENUINE (student) SPORT commentator as to test how vast his knowledge about Sports. He will not only make as many as possible list of names of football clubs, names of their players, names of football leagues but will tell you much more about gulf, basketball, ice skating, hockey, pole vaulting every detail necessary.

HE IS ABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE HE IS A GENUINE SPORT (student)COMMENTATOR. IT'S A TEST OF GENUITY IN YOUR CHOICE OF PROFESSION.

Studying political science is very much like studying history. Dates, names, and so many information are expected to be memorised.

Will any political science student able to list out all the 71 political parties not have shown that he or she is a GENUINE POLITICAL SCIENTIST with utmost INTEREST in POLITICAL AFFAIRS?!

THAT IS AN EXAMINATION TESTING HOW MUCH THESE STUDENTS HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM LAYMEN.

A 400L lecturer of the department of political science in Unilorin have suprised his students with the least expected question in one of their exam. The course title is Election Process. Questions asked includes; Mention the names of the 77 presidential candidates in the 2019 election; name the 77 political parties contesting in the 2019 election and name the 77 party chairmen in the 2019 election.
The Prof wants to test his political students if they are current with the reality of politics in Nigeria. The course title: Election Process should give the students idea on what to expect. Unfortunately many students were taken unaware since they were concentrating on just theory instead of applying this to real life situation. Things are beginning to change hence students should study beyond theoretical questions they should include the practical questions. This reduces malpractices exhibited by many students

This is how it will play. Those brilliant students will list few political parties and their presidential aspirant to get at least a C then continuous assessment will cover. In other cases few C's and many F so they may be upgrade of results which will make some persons move from C to A
