After waiting for 1 year and 4 months i really don't have the energy to tell any story because the truth is that there is none sef. Nothing interesting to mention. I discovered this forum after AOR while searching for info on processing times.

Gathering and submission of docs was hitch free. While waiting there were No ADR, no ghost update, nothing. Just silence. Emails and GCSM notes didn't help. i didnt get any updates after medicals passed in Dec 2017 till i was asked to redo my Medicals in 2019. I just had to wait till IRCC had my time.

What did i learn on this journey: PATIENCE

Wish all those waiting all the best. It will surely come, though it may tarry.

Le NOC 4032-French as a second language elementary school teacher. C'est Bon? je n'ai pas étudie French education hence the fear

suis une femme o et j'espere que ce n'est pas un probleme de continuer cette discussion en francais.

As long as you are sure the treasury bills are more than enough, then by all means upload the treasury bills alone. I had an ADR for updated POF too and all I did was to upload my FD rollover certificate and one month later ppr show. Pls dont fret, you would be fine.

Cheers

I'm currently studying for IELTS and I intend to verify my result with Wes soon. With only bsc and 2 years experience do I stand a chance ?

Partner has MSC and 6 yrs work experience. No professional certificate. Is it better to drag him into it from the beginning . Anything to boost my points biko

Do I need to enrol for masters too

Simulate your CRS scores and find out between you both who has higher scores and go on from there. However make page 1 your friend

Allahu Akbar, Grace found Us!!

In The Past I have always been ‘pro-travel’. My first attempt in this relocation dream was exactly 10 years ago, My Uncle had filed for me - she was in the Canada, I can remember going to the Canada embassy several times, did medicals, DNA and a whole bunch of other stuffs.. I was eventually denied, Oh God! Devastated was an understatement.

My next attempt with traveling was 2 years ago, I wanted to go on an important business trip - I’m an entrepreneur - so bad, I met an agent who convinced me to apply with the wrong details if I wanted to stand a chance at the US embassy, I listened to him (Biggest mistake ever) - I was denied, again! I was furious, I had good intentions, wanted to go for business and return home, Also, desperate to have travel history whenever I wanted to relocate. I applied to both the UK & Italy.. Denied! Then I gave up, faced my business and accepted my fate.

In The Beginning(EE) February 2018, Grace found Us. Before then, I’v once heard about the express entry program, but I didn’t bother giving it a thought. My girlfriend brought it up, her cousin and the fiancée was about to start the express entry journey, she’d asked what I thought about it, and explained the whole process (IELTS, WES & All ), we also got to know my educational status wouldn’t be a hindrance on our application, she was initially in a quandary about the whole relocation stuff, but me I game die, as I said earlier, always been pro-geddifokoutta the country, convinced her and we concluded to take a shot (Best decision ever)

IELTS - Na so the babe started preparing for IELTS, Ieltsbuddy.com IELTS.com.
in as much as she was stressed with work, her side hustle(tailoring), she pulled through for us on the first attempt!

ECA Started immediately with the ECA.. WES to the rescue, spouse had a masters so we evaluated both, thought this particular process was tedious with the little delays from her institution( Unilorin) not until I found this thread and got to know we were blessed.

POF As at the beginning of this journey, shi-shi we didn’t have, I’d lost all my savings in a bad business venture the previous year.. but we had to make it work - whatever it takes. Hustled like never before, sold my land, the babe hustled as well, God came through and we even had extra before we submitted our application. We fixed(6 month) the whole funds in my savings, added spouse’s pension as buffer, statement of account, we also made spouse a signatory to my account and got letter from GTB.

Medicals - So me and the babe decided to do general check-up before our medicals, just so we won’t be caught by any surprises, checked their list at the lab and ticked all the standard tests CIC requires for express entry, just thought to tick random ones like hepatitis, genotype and all since we were planning to get married anyways (Normal level) - seemed like the right thing to do. We told them to send results via mail.

Later that night, we received results, I was Hep B +. Ye! Moku Modaran, how come ? from where ?. I was shattered, I was almost certain this would be an issue, my village people done finally get me, there’s no way this application would go through I thought, searched every thread, canadavisa and all, that was when I stumbled on this thread. Saw applicants with same problem and how to go about it. I did same, & here we are (information is key)

We eventually did our medicals at IOM, Declared about my medical condition, I also did another comprehensive test after consulting a specialist and also submitted my doctor’s report during medicals.

Wedding - We decided proceed with a court wedding and apply as couples as opposed to trying the sponsorship route later. We did this at the registry at Ikeja, something crazy happened on this day, but that na tori for another day.

PCC - Alagbon, was a breeze... Not inspector Moshood though, I haven’t discovered this amazing thread then, so parted away with more than I should.

The Wait
- Excruciating is the word! Every PPR holder understands this feeling regardless of how soon or late they finally get the golden mail. After submitting, i was relaxed as I thought nothing could go wrong and was also misinformed it takes between 2- 3month. In mind, we for done fly by January... Then a friend mentioned how US & Canada shares information and all. Ah! I misrepresented in my previous applications.. though I mentioned my refusals in my PR application, I automatically assumed they would check those applications and find the inconsistencies as regards marital status, education and more.. na so anxiety sets in, I have never been anxious like in my whole life, I really needed this.. what have I done, I was so disappointed in myself and started worrying daily, it was affecting my drive and focus on business and every other thing.. I resorted to digging the internet to see people with same problem, then I stumbled on this thread.

I lost count on how many times I exited and rejoined WhatsApp groups, this minute I’m swearing not to visit anything related to Canada, the next minutes all the tabs on my PC staring at me is all about Canada.. it’s really been quite a journey but a journey I’m glad a took, a journey that would lead to me achieving my dreams and to endless opportunities insha allah

The golden mail

We took a leap of faith during the holidays, we took our passport at STUDIO 24, we knew if PPR finally drops, wifey would be busy and we might. It be able to submit immediately. I already had my PPR ‘submission purse’ ready that morning, I just had a good feeling. God came through.

The Pros - All my life, my religious life has always been turninoninown, I Prayed like never before, fast, begged God and now he has done it. I don’t deserve this blessing.

I got married!

I got to know about my medical condition, not knowing would have been a silent killer. Started eating healthier, started working out and much more

This story never ends for me, I still have a lot I could have talked about, but make I no collect all the mark finish.

I am coming for the full gist, but please a quick one, I have a new addition to my family about three weeks ago, so I informed CPC otttawa through the CSE I raised earlier. But to my surprise, their response came with a PPR message yesterday morning, while asking me to submit my baby’s birth certificate for her own application.
Later last night I discovered that my profile has been opened and they have sent the details of what I need to upload for her own application to be added.
Good for us, we have done her international passport, birth cert and medicals. All documents are reading for uploading.
However, I am a lil bit confused, should we still go ahead to our passport including our new baby’s own as demanded by the PPR letter. The letter states that all passport must be submitted on or before May 1st.
Happy people in the house, please kindly assist with evidence based information to guide us through this stage@ifeoma, joo2018, newmum etc etc

AdimGreat:
I applied for my WES verification since January and I just checked the portal to know the status of my application and WES is saying they didn't receive my WAEC certificate.

Meanwhile the certificate had been sent to them since Febraury by Fedex after I applied at WAEC office, Yaba. I used the tracking number Fedex sent to me to track the package around the period and WES confirmed receipt of the package.

I'm surprised seeing the new status on their portal.

Please has anyone experienced this before? How do I handle this cos the verification has taken too long?

WES can be crazy at times! Do you still have the FedEX tracking code? If yes, use the code and track it on WES' website (NOT on FedEx website). If it was delivered, it will tell you, then screenshot and send to WES via Twitter and also call them on phone.

Is Alberta NOI dependent on some NOC codes or can just anybody be picked for their NOI?
