Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says there is no reason “whatsoever” to resign. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, the INEC chairman said he has been doing his best in his service to the nation. “There is no reason whatsoever to resign. No reason to even contemplate that,” said Yakubu while responding to one of the questions at the briefing. They cannot deceive us ooo. He might be secretly working for APC under the pretense of having grudges with them. Old format. What we need is free and fair election. In each local govt, after the voting, it should be counted immediately and let everyone see it happening. |
