If you ask those wailing what effort have they made since the begining of the year to start doing something. You will hear them nothing "the government is bad" and they are waiting for ATIKU to come and fix it. Even farming they can't do it. Upon Nigeria is bad, that is the same Nigeria some wise people are making MONEY. Some people are really Lazy.
Even if Atiku wins the same set of people will still be wailing till eternity.
But the irony of it is that BUHARI will still WIN.

Moghalu, Sowore, Durotoye. I think all three men are capable of doing a much better job as president of Nigeria than Buhari or Atiku.
But I have to face reality, neither if these 3 men has any chance of being President of Nigeria for at least 30 years.
The reason is Northern Nigeria. For a per ml kson to become President of Nigeria, they must win some states in the North. Even if one wins all the states in the South, but none in the North, that person would not have scored the two thirds majority of states required by the constitution
The most important thing to the North is keeping political control of Nigeria, either by themselves or by proxy.
So no matter how well intentioned Moghalu, Durotoye or Sowore are, just the fact that they are Southerners has disqualified them in the eyes of the North
After 8 years of power being in the North, it rotates back to the South and the North will again pick a Southerner who best represents their interests, just like they did with Obasunjo.
Of course, young progressives like Moghalu, Durotoye and Sowore will never agree to represent Northern interests, rather, they would pursue national interests, which is why they won't ever get Northern support. It will take 30 years of generational shift before the North starts thinking that national interests is above sectional interests and that's only when Moghalu, Durotoye or Sowore will have a chance

I just wish Atiku picked a Yoruba man as running mate so that Yorubas will know that Igbos have independent mind devoid of ethnic rascality. If he has integrity he won't keep paying subsidy while at the same time increasing the pump price of petrol.
If he has integrity, he won't be violating the rule of law and cherry picking which court orders to obey and which one not to, which by the way is the greatest form of corruption!

He has integrity but claimed publicly that Boko Haram has been technically defeated then he borrowed 1billion dollars to fight a defeated enemy and then the defeated enemy is still growing in boldness and devastating effect, service chiefs were attending a political event at the same time barracks were getting ransacked! small truth no dey anywhere.

U right. D reason y is because Awo& Abiola were well known in their days. Awo had been in politics b4 d 60s& could easily set up political structures in any part of Nigeria at d time. MKOs reputation preceded him. He wasnt only known in d corridors of power, but his r/ship with traditional rulers& community leaders across Nigeria was unprecedented. His "philanthropy" had made a way 4 him. He was an amazing guy. Fela, moghalu& sowore haven't been able to build such goodwill. They simply don't have it. Only a handful of people know them.
