I am sure he understands better now with results coming from all over. Elections aren't won by endorsements of celebrities. It is the endorsement of farmers, the poor masses. haywire07: |

I don't see any reason why a sane person would want to VOTE BUHARI again, are Nigerians blind or just plain stupid, some will give excuses that he is fighting corruption and money laundering , OK ask yourself wat has he done so far wit all the realized from the so called fight. That man is not fit to lead a nation. My opinion. 1 Like 1 Share |

It falls in line with my earlier assertion. I think we MAY be witnessing the beginnings of a crystallization of the polity around the fundamentals of socio-economic conservatism and liberalism in a US political manner. The big political talk last week was of society's elites, the wealthy and opportuned gravitating towards the PDP as the protector of their status and their aspirations. A party who was remembered for its economic liberalism and a promise of more through the pronouncements of privatisations, etc, as opposed to the APC which most of them asserted was clearly 'Anti Wealth' with evidences of deeper government oversight ànd scrutiny, tightening of economic controls and policies that have stifled business and focused resources only on social programs. Obviously this position is about the present government of Mr. Buhari and cannot be stated as the emerging ideology of the APC as a party since it is clear that economic conservatism cannot be used in the same page containing the list of its prominent leaders. So expect localities with a greater proportion of the non politically affliated elites, the upper middle class and their backers to lean towards an outright Atiku vote with those who have an axe to grind against them, the lower strata to stick with the incumbent. Interesting times ahead.... 1 Like |

Reference:All correct as usual. Everyday i enjoy following you wdue to your submissions which potray an apt understanding of reality you captured there. In addition, its good for te country if both positives if the two major parties are brought to bear. Which is what i think Buhari's aim is or should be - survival of the two parties. Atiku winning the presidiency (ensuring conservative capitalism for the upper and middle class) and APC (ensuring a continuation of welfarism for the lowest economic class) having strongholds all over the nation that will ensure it wont be strangulated by PDP capitalism and favour of lords. |
