Adam and Eve both had the proof of God's existence yet they rebelled against God:

The people of Israel had the proof of God's existence, yet they rebelled against God:

Exodus 32:1-8 (KJV)

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him...
And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

So while the proof of God's existence is the cure to atheism due to the fact that atheism could only possibly exist where doubts about God's existence exists, it has been hence proven that it is not the cure to man's rebellion against God.

For although it could be helpful in a few cases of such rebellion, where such a disposition of man was only due to the lack of proof of God's existence, so that when that proof is provided, the rebellion is thus cured, most instances of man's rebellion against are irrespective of whether there is proof of God's existence or not, as has been proven by such past instances of man's rebellion against God despite having the proof of His existence.

And that also applies to most atheists, both here in Nairaland and beyond, for their rebellion against God is irrespective of whether they have proof of God's existence or not.

Therefore despite that they keep asking for proof of God's existence from those who believe in God, it is just an excuse to justify their such rebellious tendencies against God, as that would not be enough to cure their own case.

For the only cure to their case of rebellion against God is repentance, and their turning away from their rebellious ways.

So unless that happens, any effort made to to cure their such rebellious case would be an absolute waste.

Any god that commands people to kill babies deserves to be rebelled against. Any god that is kool with enslavement should be taken out to the back and shot dead.
