This is a debate that has lasted thousands of years... why is it that millions of people are still unable to see something as irrefutable as God?

Simple: There's lack of empirical evidence to prove or disprove the claim.

Typically, the proposer of an idea is charged with proving his claim, tested under numerous conditions.

So far, what we got is a story book with talking donkeys and bloody infant wars.

They spew more claims, but nothing to back their claims.

how does that prove god exists? Which god? And where did this god come from? If life is so wonderful that it had to be created, is the creator not also so wonderful he or it must be created too and cannot just exist out of nothing?

bad analogy. We know humans paint because we have see humans paint, so when we see a painting we know a human must be behind it. For life, have we seen other examples of life outside earth that god created and we know for sure it was so so god that created it? So how did we arrive at the assumption that god created the life on this earth. Which god? Where did this god come from

Reading all the intelligent comments above from both school of thoughts, you'll agree with me that the human mind is really amazing.

My point is, both sides are correct. When a man really believes a thing, that very thing becomes his truth regardless of whether he's right or wrong.

In fact, there isn't anything like right or wrong. Our interpretations of things give them life or death.

There's something about the human mind that can not be easily decrypted.
