As at the time of writing this post, the JAMB exam is only three weeks from now. You might have not been preparing for the exam until now, then you are wondering, where can i start? Then this blog post is absolutely for you.


Preparing for JAMB within three weeks involves some tweaks and tricks, at this point it depends on how smart and serious you are.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR JAMB WITHIN THREE WEEKS

Here are the tricks and tweaks;

1. Focus More On JAMB syllabus

When you want to read your textbooks or notebooks, dont just read blindly from different topics, Using JAMB syllabus to narrow your reading is very helpful. In the JAMB syllabus, the topics to be studied are outline and whatever you need to know on the topic is also outlined. This will help you read straightforward not blindly.

2. Use The JAMB Past Questions More Frequently

The truth is there is no longer new questions, JAMB keeps recycling questions every year. Take advantage of this and study the Past Questions more frequently, this will make it easier for you if you come across same kind of question you saw in the past questions. Sometimes, JAMB doesn't repeat the questions word for word , that's why it is important you revise the past questions diligently.

3. Make Use Of The Recommended Textbooks

JAMB questions are usually brought out directly from some textbooks, these textbooks are recommended by JAMB. Using this textbook will help you in your three weeks preparation.

4. Join Any Brainstorming Group On Facebook

There are different groups on facebook where you can join brainstorming session. In this groups, they ask questions and the members provide answers to the questions , then corrections are provided after the brainstorming. I personally recommend "UI brainstorming group".


These four tips are enough to help you in preparation towards JAMB which is coming up three weeks from now.

Are you sure these are practical and realistic for someone that has not read in a long time. Tell us how you would possibly assimilate more than 35 topics in biology, about 32 topics in chemistry and about 32 topics in physics coupled with the inevitable (English language), all within 3 weeks.

The only reasonable and practical way to prepare for JAMB within 3 weeks (from scratch) and hope to have a high score, is to join a tutorial (lesson) where you are assured that you will be given authentic "expo" (mgbo, bullet, result text, etc) on the day of your exam.

If u are writing JAMB and u've nt started reading by now, try read o, bt also go join "sure lesson". Do ur best. If u fail, its not the end of the world, go and learn handwork.

University education in Nigeria is grossly over-rated, people wey learn handwork and take professional courses dey hammer pass graduates.

Preparing for jamb within three weeks is possible if and only if one is familiar with all the concepts in the JAMB syllabus. If that's not the case, then you need a brain that's super fantastic or go to special centres.

Yep! This is true.

When I was in ss3 I did jamb and got 260.

After finishing school and ppring for jamb again.

I only read 3 days to the jamb exam and got 250.

Jamb is not hard at all.

2 weeks is enough for a sensible person to ppr for jamb

These steps, for me, are unrealistic. Like they say, "When you fail to plan, you plan to fail." Three weeks isn't enough time for anyone to prepare for JAMB. If you did it in 2 weeks or so, doesn't mean it can be done by everybody. Think of those who take much longer to fit in. So, when you're making a claim. do it on an average rate.

So, I'll encourage anyone who wants to write JAMB to begin practising as soon as they are in the final year of secondary school.

Right now, focus on past questions and tutorials!
