Why Hasn't The United States or the UK Congratulate Buhari? by Nobody: 11:48am On Mar 06, 2019
After the sham of February 23rd, many countries who Buhari govt has deemed fit to align with has congratulated Buhari for successfully stealing his way through.

Countries like China, whom every Nigerian citizen Now owe 15k each due to Buhari's excessive borrowing, has congratulated because the want the old man to keep mortgaging our future into their hands.

Another electoral thief in Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, was amongst the first to issue their praise. And so many other stupid countries who mean no good for Nigeria.

It is pertinent also to note that so many observer groups, including that of the United States, has issued positive statements about the conduct of the elections.

But why hasn't the United States govt, it's embassy in Nigeria, nor even the UK govt congratulate Buhari on his victory? Could they know what we don't?

Remember that the Buhari government has abandoned the Policy of Non-alignment that Nigeria adopted at independence, to align with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Oman, and other Arab countries, who are mostly enemies of the United States and the United Kingdom, and Russia.

Nigeria is drifting towards a cliff. And only God knows how long we can hold on.

The problem of most of your kind is that you swallow every poo thrown at you from Bubu and his handlers hook, line and sinker.

The report in Vanguard quoted Femi Adesina as saying that Mike Pompeo as congratulating "Nigerians" for a successful election, and not "Buhari" for victory.

Why would Pompeo's statement be conveyed by Adesina, which but raises a lot of questions.

Mike Pompeo has a twitter handle, and so does the White House. Why hasn't any official statement come from these avenues?

How does congratulating Nigerians for a successful election translate to congratulating Buhari for victory?

It's important because the US, whether we like it or not, is the World power. And relationship with The US is imperative for our harmonious international relations.

If the US isn't important, why did Buharists and the APC make it a point of duty to ask Atiku to visit the US during the campaign period?

China, with all its economic breakthroughs, is currently on its knees trying to iron out trade relations with the US.

India, another emerging economy, is about to bleed because Trump is about to terminate a law that grants special treatment for Indian products into the US market.

US input in security is another side you wouldn't want me to elaborate.

So, how do you now think it's not of importance for the US to be in agreement with who is the president of this country?

OP made a valid point. Compare the one you posted and 2015 when Buhari won:

World leaders congratulate Buhari in 2015
French President, François Hollande, United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and US President, Barack Obama are among the dignitaries who have extended their congrats to Buhari.

What does "SUCCESSFUL ELECTION" mean to you?

Can a rigged, inconclusive or failed election be termed as "SUCCESSFUL" by the USA? grin

Are you kidding me?
Where does it say that congratulatory messages or statements must come directly from heads of government before they can be considered valid.

Haven't you heard of spoken persons or representatives who represent or speak for governments and heads of states? - it like saying statements for and on behalf of the president by Femi Adesina or Garba Shehu are not valid until PMB makes them himself.

If those congratulatory messages were not valid, their respective countries would have long denied them and the announcers sanctioned ccordingly.

Did you actually read this:

A statement from the British High Commission in Abuja on Wednesday, quoted the Minister of State for Africa, Harriett Baldwin, as saying “I offer my congratulations to President Buhari on securing a second term as the Nigerian President.

Was Harriet Baldwin representing herself or the British High Commission detached from the British Government?

US, UK, German, France, EU and the countries that matter will never CATEGORICALLY congratulate bubu and apc over their stolen victory.

All they have done is just diplomatic-speak, strewn with doubts, punches and holes here and there. But zombies who can't read between the lines are celebrating empty words.

You think these countries don't have and know the shameless mass-scale rigging for so-called "Mr Integrity" aka bigot-in-chief and anti-capitalist? They don't even need to rely on body cams; they have all the damning direct satellite imageries.

Trump is active on Twitter. But neither him nor Pompei, Theresa May, Merkel, or Macron will CATEGORICALLY congratulate on a fraudulent election.

Isn't that unusual? But no worries. All the injustice will be reversed. Just keep fingers crossed and watched. They think it's over and they can sit on the loot and share the rest of the country's key positions, wealth and resources among themselves (the north and Tinubu's boys)? Lol.

Cos they have saboteurs like Ngige, oshiomole, Okorocha, Kalu and co who still have their judgement days on earth ahead of them?

Meanwhile, the oppressed SS and SE are the golden goose that lay the golden egg and bubu is delegating Osinbajo to try to coarse them into a party they don't want? cry
