According to INEC, they won't be issuing certificate of return to him because he was declared winner of Imo West Senatorial district under duress.

Nevertheless, his Son-inlaw Uche Nwosu, recently lost the Gubernatorial election to the candidate of the PDP Emeka Ihedioha.
