Lagos Will continue to house/Headquarter the IOCs, That is how Unjust Nigeria is to the smaller ethnic Groups

How is that “unjust”? In the UK, for example, both Shell UK and BP are headquartered in London (where there is NO oil/gas).

A corporate HQ is an administrative hub (distinct from operational hubs), and thus most often located in close proximity to each country’s financial, accounting, management consulting, legal, advertising and such other related corporate capitals, as well as the easiest location of skilled management talent. Furthermore, for multinational corporations proximity to foreign embassies/consulates is an added advantage. Of course, to be brutally frank about Nigeria, given the brigandage prevalent in most of the Niger Delta, multinationals are well-cautioned to maximize the safety of their staff (additional insurance costs alone would be quite considerable).

What sort of "hard currency" is the government going to get from the building? How much has she gotten from Tropicana? 4-Points?

So a company will accept to house her staff in a building even if she cannot afford it? Do you expect businesses to make losses?

BS!

Who are you to dictate to firms to cite offices there? Why should oil firms be compelled to do so? ExxonMobil already has offices in Eket and Uyo, why will she need this office? OK, let's assume Exxon rents some floors, what happens to others? Or do you know any firm that can AFFORD a floor other than oil related firms? My problem is that you believe so much in a Nigerian government controlled entity. Whereas NONE has worked! You mentioned peaceful operations whereas you forget that it is because of the relative peace in the state that made these firms stay put, if not, they would have relocated to Lagos or Abuja. If you think it is a lie, ask Warri what happened when the residents became belligerent.

BTW, you did not say anything about the nonsensical ecumencial centre.

Tropical Hotel is different from an office space targeted at the Oil related companies in the state.... It is not a question of whether they will be there or can afford it... It is nothing more than a PR for the continued guaranteed peaceful operating environment. They will announce their tenancy the day it will be opened... There are homes in Nigeria that the rents are paid in dollars...this one won't be an exception

Every country of the world is home to a particular religion that shapes the way they do their thing and virtual all the countries of the world has had to get involve in building a befitting place of worship for their belief... You can google this

In Nigeria, almost all the mosque in the north are built with public fund...almostball the mosque from the central mosque to the inner street mosque. Therefore Udom has not done anything against the development of his state
