Many women dont think? They reason poorly, even d bible recognizes it.
The story is about the widow of zarephat.1 kings17.
God had commanded her to feed the prophet-she heard from God.
2.- her food supernaturally multiplied during d famine. They ate what couldnt naturally sustain 3 ppl for years!
3. Then, her son died. She began to rail on the man of God instead of ask beseechingly for help (v18). Over familiarity.
Eventually, the prophet raised her son back to life! Amazing!
Well, her foolishness came out in her next statement -to b immortalized forever: she said " Now by this i know that thou art a man of God and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth. "! Sho! C'mon woman! Whatabout the free food she had been eating all this years! Wasnt that enough proof? What about hearing from God Himself about it? Did she think bf she uttered those words? She's very typical of women. Most shoot without thinking. I can only imagine d look elijah gave her.
