Apart from MKO in June 12 - which other President wanna be in Nigeria has been so generally accepted as it seems GJ is across Nigeria?

Save your abuses please.

You should be comparing Jonathan to 2003 OBJ. That is the only person you can compare him to as in a candidate who is already President.

Even a Goat who is already President will have friends from all parts of Nigeria if they were to stand for office. It is simply due to the spoils of the office and not a lot more. Thats the sad reality of Nigerian politics.

Otherwise tell us the basis of Jonathan's support base
Does he have any political ideology?
He has not even set an agenda for Nigeria's future
nor has he said if he will even run.

Its all fair weather, AGIP politicians.
If Jonathan Goodluck was not President by accident and decides to run, how many of these people will honestly fluck to him as the next best astute Politician since MKO Abiola?

Please lets put things in context.

Abiola, but yeah you're right, his support has been tremendous.
I think he'd be ok, but Ribadu is needed ASAP

Compared to IBB and the other bunch of clowns parading themselves, Goodluck is the best out there.

O pari

Jonathan just keeps doing the right things. Who would ever have believed fuel scarcity would ever be a thing of the past in Nigeria? Who would ever have thought that one day Nigerians would dare to dream of the possibility of 24/7 power? Good things are going on for once.

Beaf, one of these days you're going to choke on Jonathan's cum. Just keep at it, you hear

Compared to the rest of the field (the likes of Atiku and the evil IBB), GEJ is a champ; but more importantly, his programmes are genuinely great.

Is it a coincidence that the people supporting are rabid AGIP? Name 3 credible political leader that has supported GEJ

The question is; how many "credible political leaders" are there in Nigeria? What is the definition of a credible leader? If it is good people like Wole Soyinka, Obahiagbon and others who mean well for the country, not a single bad word has been said about Jonathan, in fact there are quotes of enthusiasm for him. Let's leave this credible leader thing behind, because our definitions might differ; the leadership landscape in Nigeria is barren except for a few stars like Jonathan, Fashola and Chime.

Presidential Candidate? I thought it should be "president"?

Is he running in 2011? If yes, did he say so? To who, when - did I miss it?

that is the only argument that can be put forward - but even this is not true - whatever atiku's faults, he ceratianly was far more visible and achieved more as vice than gej did. if atiku had been vp to yardua, all that protracted drawn out yardua saga would not have happened

better to compare johnathan to donald duke - so tell us - what did johnathan ACHIEVE as governor?

not what he PLANS to achieve - vision 2000 2010, 2020 2012, is so we don hear am before

all this power road map, 2billion $ refineries, in the country of failed/cancelled projects simply does not cut it. our govt has spent billions on TAM for existing refineries - so put a sock in that. is it not the same gej that immediately cancelled the abuja runway that was awarded when he was vp?

abeg let ribadu run jare. whatever else, we know that one has a pair of balls and stands on his principle , not like our compromising 'quiet' cuckold obj puppet

When foreign personalities look upon Nigerians as fools, majority of the inhabitants of the geographical expression tends to get twisted out of human form. Goodluck Jonathan who appeared to be making rubbish of his own house rules is regarded as a leader. I guess reasonable human beings say “charity begins at home”.

I must vote against the candidature of Goodluck Jonathan if he contests the 2011 Nigerian presidential election under PDP.

OYB

I totally agree with you. If OBJ went missing for one second while Atiku was VP. The man would have taken control of Government immediately as Acting President as prescribed by the constitution and will not dilly-dally untill the NASS invents some doctrine of madness.

Why did'nt that so called cabal go after David Mark and co and kill all the NASS guys
Why did'nt the so called cabal install Turai as President and institut a full blown dictatorship if they are that powerful.

This country suffered an unnecessary power vacuum and was at risk of getting into some unnecessary crisis because we had a VP who did not understand his number 1 role which is to fill in for the President whenever he is unavailable.

Jonathan's docility and inability to lead or lack of clout meant that the President could go missing for months and yet nothing was done about it. At some point even he jonathan was claiming he was in contact with the President.

Honestly is we are a serious country there should have been a probe on all that transpired within that period and Jonathan would have explained what sort of contact he claimed to have had with Yar'adua.

^^^^^
As in he should stage a "coup" and force himself to become President because he was "entitled" to do so? just like Atiku would have done if Obasanjo had been ill? bamboozle himself to rule just as he wants to do now? He would have then be seen as a hero unlike Goodluck?

Na wa o.
