I'm sure Buhari is even ashamed of the situation in Rivers but just can't say anything. He caused their problem here and then used to military to cause more problems. Buhari retires in 2023, I doubt there will be any future for Ameachi. They might just keep him around to help them Rig elections in the South South but never as a respected member/colleague.

Amechi knows he can't be a minister this time or he can't have a lucrative ministry again, he's out of Favour with the cabal, and without a big ministry, he will be out of cash sooner.
