northern Cameroon is predominantly Muslims while southern Cameroon is mostly Christians.. The same way Gowon who is a Christian was used by Muslim dominated northern army to commit atrocities in biafra but Christian it Nigeria biafran war.. Francophone Cameroon is mostly Christian, with Muslims in the North.

Anglophone Cameroon is mostly Christian.

The division here is mostly linguistic.The Cameroonian Army is most likely mixed...Christian and Muslim, and mainly Francophone.

Religion does not play a role. Ironically, the Cameroonian Army is helping us fight Boko Haram

Yes it sounds like a 'good' idea...but in 1961, the Anglophone Camerounians voted to join their french speaking brethren.

It was a mistake , but to all intents and purposes, they are part of the Cameroon

Francophone Cameroon is divided between a Muslim North and a Christian South. Anglophone Cameroon is mostly Christian.

The division here is lingusitic. Anglophones, who are in the minority, and who used to be part of Nigeria have been complaining of discrimination on the grounds of language. There is a rebel group and a secessionist movement active there as a result.
