You people don't understand, a deal have definitely been struck by both parties for his reinstatement as substantive CJN. If not how can you explain the FG witnesses testifying against the FG. So Atiku might as well bid goodbye to the exaulted seat.

In this case, FG (specifically the executive arm) is the prosecutor.
So you mean you guys didnt read the part where the prosecution said they brought 3 witnesses out instead of 6 and the defence should indicate if the remaining witnesses should be broughy forward??

Nobody is reinstating that thief. This must be part of a plea bargin with the FG. They let him go on trial and then clear him of all the allegations to make him look innocent. But he will have to resign soon after with full benefits as a former CJN. That is what Wole olanipekun and other senior lawyers went to plead on his behalf some time ago. Onnoghen is as guilty as hell.

Watch how the CJN will honorably retire next month and also enjoy all is pensions and entitlement.
It's called National Interest, trying to save the face of the Highest Justice Institution in the Land.
If the CJN goes to Jail for corruption, the country will loose faith in the Judicial System.
I wonder why some Nigerians can't follow up on details and read between the lines.

it's a pity almost 80% of our youths are educated illiterate. when a prosecutor close a case, that means he's done bringing witness forward. so many on here believe the case has been discontinued. chai... our education system needs total overhauling
