What a foolish reply! He needs money to pay his rent, you can't give him the money, you can't provide a job for him to get the money but you're asking him to give a tenth of what he has to pastors that are not suffering financially.
Why has religion taken away our humanity and replaced it with foolishness, why?

you are fallen from hrrace if you keep abiding by the law...tithing inclusive.

im not against giving but it should be according to 2 Corinthians 9:6-9

When Paul spoke concerning falling from Grace, he never said people should not obey the law. He was simply saying the law is not a means to salvation but the grace of Jesus. If you are depending on the law to save you, then it means you have falling from the grace God gave.

According to you, if we are to stop abiding by the law, then it means we no longer need to obey the laws against homosexuality, bestiality, incest, murder etc. Can you now see how wrong you are? We obey the law, but we don't see it as a means of salvation because we have been saved by Grace.

From FeedMeJesus.com

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Galatians 5:4

What does it mean to “fall from grace” from the above scripture?

First, I’ve got to warn you. Understanding what Paul was saying in that scripture will free you from religious shackles and cause unending joy like a river to flow out of your innermost being.

If you don’t mind that at all, then sit back and enjoy this piece!

The above scripture like every other verse of the Bible, is best understood in the context of the whole book.

That is, to understand that verse, we need to first understand the whole book of Galatians, paying special attention to the author, audience, tone of writing, message, chapter, previous verses and the ones that followed after. That way we can never be in error.

In this book, we see the apostle Paul using his strongest tone in writing, to address the Galatian church.

These were a people that heard the gospel of God’s unconditional love and grace extended to sinful mankind, believed the message and were saved.

But after some time, some “other gospels” started flying around which were not really the gospel of Jesus.

These “other gospels” or teachings spread so much to the point the whole church was greatly affected. And Paul had to write

“I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

“which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

“But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

“As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” Gal.1:6-9

What was it about this “other gospel” that made Paul the apostle to place a curse on whosoever preaches it to the Galatian believers?

The thing is, this “other gospel” was focused on what a man has to do by himself in order to be justified before God rather than focusing on what God by his grace, has done for man.

The preachers of this other gospel infiltrated the church and started telling the people that they need to be circumcised and live according to the Laws of Moses before they can be righteous before God.

The shocking part was that this was a people that had already believed God accepts men by faith based on the sacrifice of His Son Jesus.

But when this new teaching of “honour the sabbath day, don’t eat this, don’t wear this, do this and don’t do this so God will be pleased with you” came, they forgot all they have been taught about God’s grace and salvation and started trying to earn that Salvation by their own works or performance.

Paul had to call them “foolish” and “bewitched” for this.

“O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

“This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by the hearing of faith?

“Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:1-3

They wanted like today’s believers, to be righteous before God by what they do instead of believing in what Christ has already done for them. Unknowingly to them, they were frustrating the grace of God by that act.

“I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” Gal.2:21

It was this slipping back to the Law of Moses that Paul called to “fall from grace.”

“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Gal.5:4

To fall from grace here does not mean the believer has lost his salvation or is no longer born again.

It simply means that the believer having been saved by grace, has gone back to living by the Law in order to “earn” what he already has.

This is gross error. A total display of ignorance, foolishness and bewitchment. It is like a dog chasing after its own tail.

You are already righteous as believer, you are justified and saved by the faith you have already put in Jesus and His sacrifice on the cross for you.

Quit trying to live by the laws of Moses in order to get what you already have. Salvation is only possible by grace through faith.

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

If it was possible to be gotten by man’s effort, then Jesus wouldn’t have died in the first place.

Today like apostle Paul I say, if any man or angel, comes to preach to you another way of becoming righteous or justified before God except by faith in Jesus, let him be accursed.

Galatians 5 verse 1 says, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.”

Dear believer, stand in this liberty of the grace of God and do not go back to the works of the Law.

You already have all you seek after (righteousness, justification, redemption and much more) given to you. It is all yours. Quit trying to “earn” them.

Glory to God!

You are much loved.

Balance it with James 3-4... Being saved by grace does not give us liberty to behave anyhow, without fear of God's punishment, Christ did not abolish the law but the law was fulfilled in Him (Christ)... fulfilling the law isn't possible humanly but Christ in us makes us perfect.
If Christ is in you, that is ur hope of glory...because truly , you wouldn't find the fulfillment of the law a big task.

The Israelites with the law given, was always wanton...The law could not bring them to do the right thing.
Christ in us and the spirit of God that dwells in us...makes us run away from sin.

To the topic... Grace is unmerited favor from God, we all live by grace it’s not by anybody’s doing.

Your salvation is not based upon how good you are, and your salvation is not prohibited by how sinful you have been.

You seem to have not read the post well bro. There's no where in the post living anyhow is encouraged to warrant the call for a "balance." The post mainly addressed the subject of "Falling from grace" in Galatians 5 as it is mostly misunderstood today. Read it again sir, this time slowly.

[s]I wish you good Christians knew the historical background behind your bible and what you believe. History has been striped off and all there is in the bible are the views of Rome.

A little history about the above....

The first followers of your Jesus were called the gnostics and they were just a Jewish faction. The early Christians remained Jews!. They understood the meaning of salvation more than Paul because they've been in this new Jewish sect for at least 40 years before Paul.

Paul had always persecuted these first/original christians. He never liked them even when he was not yet converted.

Suddenly, Paul came in from nowhere and claimed he had a vision on his way to Damascus and that the whole concept of salvation has changed overnight. He began preaching his own doctrines, totally different from what the first/original Christians believed. Example; the first Christians did not believe that Jesus physically resurrected from the dead, rather they believed that the resurrection was to be understood symbolically. They also believed that salvation was as promised to the Jews, only. It was never a universal salvation. Indeed, your Jesus said ''I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.''

Paul's misunderstanding of what the first Christians believed and imposition of his own version was why he had disputes with the original Christians. Some of the disputes ended up in your bible at Acts 15.36-41. But that's just a tip of the iceberg. Many such incidents didn't make it into your bible.

Paul was an anti-Christ. He Never believed in Jesus, and like they say ''if you cannot beat them you join them'' that's exactly what Paul did. His goal was always to destroy the Christians. And he succeeded!.

The message in the new testament is the message of Paul, not your Jesus. The message of your Jesus was long lost as soon as Paul entered the scene.

By they way, Paul never said those things credited to him. Historians believe he probably wrote just one or two letters. The rest of epistles supposedly written by Paul, were actually manufactured by the Roman catholic church to justify why they (Europeans/gentiles) could also be saved. This provided them the reason to hijack the early christian movement and to completely bastardize Christianity as a tool of mass control.

What Rome did could be likened to Nigerian politicians hijacking a genuine BBOG (bring back our girls) movement in 2015 and using it to achieve their selfish political purposes. Those early Christians were later to realize that the movement was hijacked by Europeans for political purposes, so they abandoned Christianity and converted to Islam years later. This's why Israel and the rest of the Middle East people aren't Christians today. They later realized the scam!!.
[/s]

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

It is proper for those who have not grown pass the law to be under it. That you now have University in your village does not mean you are qualified for it. If you are a sinner, do not let anyone deceive you, the Law is for you until God sees that self conceit is totally taken from you because Grace, even the one that brings salvation, has appeared to all men but it is only the humble that can benefit from it. I pray that you will understand in Jesus name.
1 Timothy 1:9-10 KJV
Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, [10] For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
Galatians 3:23-25 KJV
But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. [24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. [25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

You're the one ''repeating lies over and over again to make it sound like the truth'', not me.

Please show me some historical, archeological, scientific, anthropological proof that Jesus did indeed resurrect from the dead, and I will apologize to you immediately.
Evidence 101- Oral testimony of witnesses present. Bible supplied this. You never quoted your source of information.

You showed me proof your Jesus is real or you showed me bible verses? Do you think you're talking your church member?

i was referring to your Gnostic gospel confusion, your Christ myth theory and your last argument that Jesus has no place amongst Judaism. That was where I gave you those prophecies of Jesus in the Jewish Bible(old testament)

proof of resurrection? the proof is that the disciples went about in hostile territory where they were the hated minority, preaching that the Christ who was hated, whom they fled from at his arrest, and was crucified for His preaching had risen

Either the disciples were crazy enough to risk being killed by going to lie about a resurrected Jesus whose enemies were very much around and in power or that they actually saw Him Risen.

Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life.

Proof!
